Greater arm strength and infinite energy for the merciless fight against that cold, heavy iron in the gym. We find ourselves in the 13th Century, it is a very hot and power-sapping day in the Holy Land. The Sun Shines unbearably bright and heats up the floor relentlessly so that every step feels like walking on hot coals. A caravan of exhausted pilgrims aims for Jerusalem – The Kingdom Of Heaven – through the stony bleak wasteland. The high sun blinds you. Unsuspecting, they walk with faith in their hearts towards the church of the sacred grave, to be freed of their sins there. What they don't notice in their fatigue is the merciless rider squadron that is approaching with the sun on their backs. The vulnerable pilgrims and those running out of strength only notice the attack when the first hit by arrows fall to the ground. Scared to death some of them climb on one another while they are surrounded by the cavalry. With a taught bow, the screaming warriors ride like wild devils towards the fear-struck pilgrims. They are saracens and know no mercy. When they believe that they have said their last prayer to the heavens, a real miracle appears before them. With thundering steps, in close formation and with heavy lances, comes a unit of crusaders over a nearby hill in a storm of hooves. In full gallop, they turn directly on the saracen cavalry – without thinking of their own lives – breaking up the circling enemies, who are so surprised by the attack that they don't even known what's happening. The crusader's lances meet their mark and throw the riders from their horses like dolls.
