The Very Hungry Caterpillar: A Pull-Out Pop-Up

Bought as a new baby gift because I thought a mini travel version would be useful but I’ve not heard if it was acceptable although I’m sure it was who doesn’t like the hungry caterpillar?

What can I say,? Eric Carl, The hungry caterpillar, absolute classic, real favourite. The design of this little book, pull out, with story on both sides works really well for little hands.

This is a beautiful book! But be warned, it is really quite delicate and not suitable for toddlers/younger children.I was considering returning, but think I'll keep them for future birthdays/presents. I should perhaps have done my research better, but some sort of additional photo or description of the inside of the book would have been useful - there is a big difference between pop up books and this one definitely lands in the intricate delicate territory!

The original very hungry caterpillar! A much loved book so introducing it to a new audience is a must.

A classic that our granddaughters daddy , absolutely , loved when he was a little boy .

The book was a lot smaller than I expected, maybe my fault for not reading dimensions but I see a lot of people have said the same thing. The pages are made from paper not card and therefore very delicate, I can see my 3 year old ripping it before too long. I find it a bit odd that it isn’t glued together in the middle. Again this makes it susceptible to being ripped as it looks like it should open out. The story has also been shortened which my son found a bit confusing because there were parts missing

My 2 year old grandson loves it just like his mummy did. Story has not changed and this version is sturdyJust right for small hands.
