Having used this amplifier for several weeks,I have been very pleased with it in its application and have since purchased a second one.The clarity of sound and volume is ideal for the use I have for them,and used in conjunction with a 4GB SDHC card makes the operation of switching on and moving to the required song simplicity itself,along with the ability to repeat-it has very rapidly become the perfect piece of kit.The amp is easily transported in a large pocket or by its supplied shoulder strap,but not being waterproof,I have to take precautions in the outdoor use I put them to.The length of time for delivery was up to a month,but delivered in around 10 days.The charger requires a 2 pin to 3 pin converter which is not supplied but is easily obtained(the second one came with an adapter).The supplied 'manual' is sufficient but of very small type and does needs to be read.

As a licenced bird ringer I (and many of my fellow ringers) use these as lures (outside the breeding season) to attract larger numbers of birds. The sound is perfect for this purpose as the tone is very natural sounding and it can play at a suitable volume to be useful with minimal distortion (though the quality of the MP3 file being played does have a bearing here) for easily a full ringing session (upwards of 6-7 hours sometimes) and more often than not two or more.

Works fine and good delivery. Needs better microphone though.

-edit- found out the Mic did not work as it should, I forgot to test it and used it for sound never checking if the mic was in order - you need to have the mic in your mouth for it to react. Like having a smoke, that's how close you need it. Something must be wrong on this - beside that, a great unit but it seems I got a defect unit on the mic finding out to late about it.-edit- I tried to buy some new Mics, but it is the unit itself that seem to be the trouble - the company did not want to do anything about it apparently and replace it - so I'm looking into getting something that works, and although having the issue I'm thinking of either getting another one of the same or the SHIDU M800 which do have some other positive things. It is sad that the Microphone is broke as the Anker Battery seems to still go strong and I'm still using the units here and there and it is impressive to see how long it can run in one role. Still an awesome unit - but I just got one that was faulty, so check everything when you get it if it works alright ;)Not exact version on the picture - "only" has Micro SD slot which is fine by me! Did not need any other - but the Picture has some kind of bigger slot on the picture. Which made me think when I ordered it, that it could use different cards...But beside that - this is awesome! I think I am going to give away my 500-600 dollar speakers - it's so nice to actually hear what they are singing and no big Bass. The sound is very clear in regards to speech and what my 500-600 dollars speakers could not, this boy do - making the music go around the whole apartment and I can hear what is being song about.The Battery is... wow, long! Iv had it playing music for hours and hours and hours... and still it has not needed to be recharged today.The sound is very clear, and loud - I have not yet tried the Microphone, but this boy is awesome in small size and in sound.I did not have much luck with the Radio - but that is so worldly anyway, so il keep to my Jesus music. But I could not really get a good signal up here in my apartment, I'm not sure if it is the Aker or just bad signal in here...But no matter, I did not buy it for its radio, and actually even not for the music player - but I really, really like this feature I must say.I don't know how easy it will be to get a new Battery - but that is for a time when it dies.Anyway, I really like it - also so loud, which is great. Be careful when just turning it up, it will get loud fast. :)This is great, it's small, portable, Music player and Speaker system and have long battery... Excellent sound clarity and design, and feels solid. Of course, understandably bass is less with the small speaker, but for what it is trying to achieve: portable voice amplication it does the job. Get a good headset mic and the whole world is listening. I would like to know: Are the batteries replaceable and how would they be replaced?

Hello all...I bought this to do street preaching as I am a Pastor etc. I find this unit a great tool for reaching areas where it is tight and no need for a larger amp. Also this says it has a tone, but its more like a reverb where you can bring in some echo which I found a bonus.It recharges fine, works fine and is light enough to walk around with on your shoulder. It came with a lapel mic in which I won't use, a small handheld mic in which I have used and I have also now bought a head mic from somewhere else in which I have used.For the money, its great. If I knew someone and they wanted a smallish type amp for similar work, yes I would recommend.Pastor Laurence of RML Church, Edmonton London.

I bought two of these for my husband, who is extremely satisfied with them. Easy to use & re-charge. My only gripe would be the high cost of postage=£16 but I think they are from China so I suppose that is understandable.

Great amp used outdoor and good clarity and volume. Battery lasts well and charges quickly.
