Hormel Spam, Oven Roasted Turkey, 12 oz

I don’t like pork, so I gave turkey a try. It’s so good! Tastes and smells delicious. Much better than the original in my opinion. Of course it’s a little salty, but all Spam is! The recipe possibilities for this are endless. It’s a good value, but I do miss when it was cheaper!

Made a sandwich with two slices and found it delicious! I have several slices left to use. The package doesn’t allow for storage of what was not used, so I put it in a plastic bag for freezing until ready for next meal using it. I have thought about using it for emergency food in my auto, so would have to have a container for leftovers.

While this product can be good emergency storage food it is too salty for me. I thought I could use it for snack food but too salty and doesn’t last long once opened.

I wish I would've taken pics but I used this to make spam musudi. I never tried it due to dietary limitations. I figured I would try this turkey spam and it was delicious. I cooked in a skillet with oil spray and then once it was done, I sauteed it in teriyaki sauce and assembled the musudi. The turkey spam is salty and has the traditional spam texture. I do like the fact that it's not as fatty as traditional spam. Will buy again.
