LED Drivers 240V to 12V Including MR16 connectors x 6/0.5-12W / Zero Interference with Dab and WiFi

I swapped the five ceiling lights in my kitchen from 50w halogen to 5w LED leaving the original power supplies in place. The LEDs worked, but flickered and occasionally went out. I should have expected this, as I knew that halogen power supplies are not compatible with LEDs but I thought I might be able to save some money. The solution was to replace the old power supplies with proper LED drivers. Now there is no flickering and no other problems with the LEDs. All the LEDs that had previously flickered now are stable. An excellent product.Changing the lights has improved the brightness and lowered the power consumption from (5 x 50) 250 watts to 25 watts, a good saving in money which will offset the reasonable cost of the LED drivers.

Big problem with these drivers. Bulbs sometimes didn't light, went off or flickered.After days of messing around I found it was the bulbs at fault. The bulbs came from another supplier.Excellent service from LED HIVE who credited some of the drivers anyway.Check your bulbs are dc not ac/dc which may give problems

I ordered these for use in my attic to replace the halogen drivers as I am replacing my bulbs with LEDs for safety and energy saving reasons. When these arrived I was concerned to see that unlike many similar transformers I have bought in the past this model offers no double insulation over the red and blue mains inputs, and rather multi-core wired protected by a single plastic sheaf similar to what would come from a 12v battery - not 240v mains voltage. The printing on the casing was not consistent with each model being aligned in different parts on each transformer.I have returned the items as they did not appear to meet BS 7671, notably the neutral and live connectors on the 240v mains input side were not double insulated, therefore not suitable for installation in enclosed spaces such as lofts and ceiling voids (where the transformer would sit in my example).

This is very easy to install and is a lot smaller than the part it replaces so fits easily into the ceiling space. So far works well and no problems.

A good product but would have liked the MR16 connector to be longer

Fitted these myself as a direct replacement for previous units which would not switch ON with the replacement LEDs. These work great, instant ON.

Very happy with the led drivers what you see is what you get.This is the second order of led drivers from this company as advertised the drivers are very easy to install.The first order I placed came via Royal Mail on time and in good order installed in minuets and are working great no problems.Would recommend this company no problem.
