Everbuild 209 Mortar Tone Liquid Admixture – Cement Colourant – High Water and Rain Resistance – Black – 1 Litre

Main thing with this product is to measure and mix carefully. If not, you will end up with different shades of mortar from grey to pure black. Remember, the dry shade is always lighter than the wet shade.I used this on my new drive (20mtr X 4mtr) with dark grey pavers and it looks excellent.

Product package was not same as photo but content volume was. It was easy to use and have the finish needed. It arrived earlier than expected.

The color is good and really easy to use it.

Very easy to mix,looks great with the Indian stone in my garden.

This liquid mortar tone is good. It is easy to use and colours the cement to a darker colour which looks nice too.

First off this is to make grey and black cement/concrete which, is just what I wanted.Bottom line is that add this to a mix - preferably in a mixer - until you get the shade of grey you want or the full on black look.I wanted some dark grey cement thus added small amounts until I got my desired mix. Easy peasy. The critical thing of course is to make sure 100% you can replicate the same colour and that means using the same amount of sand, cemenent and colourant. I tend to not bother but in this case I made notes and thus could ensure all my mixes were the same - or at least close enough to look the same.Overall good stuff.

The picture here is a 5 litre container and the product sent is 1 litre. After reviewing my order I see that the description is 1 litre, however most people buy by what you are loooking at. Pretty sure the product description should match the picture!!!!
