Problem with flies in summer, you need this!
I love the summer months, but hate the flies that invade my home whenever a door/window is open. Not only is their presence and noise they make annoying/irritating, but they spread germs etc.I’ve tried the tennis rackets that shock/kill the flies, your tackling one at a time as you chase the critters around.I looked for a more effective solution and found really good reviews for The Buzz Fly Catcher, and wasted no time in placing my order. It’s a very simple item, I read the instructions and to the letter having baited the traps, left them out in full sun which is important for the bait to be activated. In no time it started attracting and trapping blue bottles which it attracts as well as the odd wasp. After a few days, the entire bottle was full, and I set up the other trap which like the first was full within days. The powder in the sachet did not have a strong smell initially, but after a few days, it was very pungent, this is NOT for indoor use, and you want to set the traps away from any open windows/doors as the smell is not nice. But they attract the flies to the traps and I noticed a considerable reduction in flies entering my home, you will still get the odd fly, but they didn’t hang around for long. The traps attract all the flies in the area including breeding flies reducing the number of flies in the area, I found maggots in the traps that had hatched from the dead or dying flies. It’s not pretty, but it really works, and is the best product I’ve found. My neighbour, so impressed by my traps bought some too, and equally had brilliant results. The trap doesn’t attract bees according to other reviews I’ve read, and my traps didn’t catch a single bee which I was concerned about. So bee lovers need not worry.

Best fly catchers
Couldn’t rate these high enough, we get lots of flys in our garden and we used these all last summer and they catch so many flys!! We hung one next to our bins and one next to back door and they have worked wonders!!

Works really well
This works really well even though the last batch I received the powder kept separating to the bottom even after some vigorous shaking and whisking but it still seemed to work ok. The smell is awful and after emptying one in order to refill it I decided to throw the whole thing away the next time and just buy new ones. It was pretty disgusting and the container retained some of the smell. All in all it is very effective.

No flies on me!
Absolutely amazing, from about a dozen flies daily buzzing around in my lounge to zero! I've placed the jars outside my patio doors and they are stopping the flies coming in - they're trapped.

Surprisingly effective
I dont leave many reviews, but felt like this deserved one.I needed something like this, the flies in our house were getting too annoying. Initially I was looking at electric traps, but didn't want the zapping sound (and smell from fried bugs). Our cat hates the zapping sound and frequencies of the tennis racket style electric flyswatter we have.I was sceptical about the effectiveness of this, especially as they have been placed outside and my issue was with flies coming inside. The instructions said to allow 24 hours from mixing the solution before it started working, mine seemed to start working after only 4 hours or so (it was a very hot day, so not sure if this accelerated the process), very happy so far.Since day 1 of having them, the flies in my house have reduced by over 90%, as another reviewer said it seems to be the smaller/mid sized flies that buzz around in the middle of the room that aren't quite as interested in the bait, but even so there's a lot less of these now and easier to dispatch with the electric flyswatter that I had primarily been using before (only had 3 of these since having the traps, had way more than this previously). Not looking forward to disposal, but I guess its no worse than the individual carcasses from the fly swatter, just on a much larger scale.Only a few days in, so can't comment fully, especially in regards to how long the bait remains effective for (I believe they state 4 weeks), but based on the effectiveness now and relief from flies over the last couple of days I will happily by more bait when needed, even if it was every week. All the flies that hung around our bin area have also gone. There have been no flies in our kitchen since having these (our kitchen is to the front of the house, the traps are placed in the rear garden). It's not pretty, but I don't think anything of this nature could be.Again I was sceptical, but definitely worth a punt for the price and I'm so glad I tried it. I'd highly recommend, as its a great solution and fantastic value for money (in my opinion) and will definitely buy again.
