Penhaligon's Sartorial Eau de Toilette

This really is an amazing fragrance. i have over 25 including Creed Aventus, Serge Lutens etc etc and this is up there with them. very beautiful. I'm not able to describe what it smells like, but i have had numerous positive comments from females and males. Worth the money.

Very impressed, the smell lasts a long time on my skin, very difficult to describe the smell, linen perhaps? something to wear for best though rather than everyday use.

Well, purchased this as was on offer, husband usually likes 1 million . It's an ok product nothing outstanding nobody rushing to ask what he was wearing. Certainly not an outstanding smell that gets noticed, ordinary so 1 star for trying but just not getting there but with big price tag. Others preferred.

The history behind this product interested me enough to try this but the price was quite off putting! When Amazon happened to have this on a daily deal, I took the plunge. I do not find the scent as modern i.e, citrus, sandalwood ands cinamon etc you find at the moment but that's what adds to the appeal of this. On application, it comes across as quite strong but after a short while it becomes more subtle but quite unique. I have yet to get some negative feedback from others but will give it 4 stars for uniqueness!

Excellent bottle, mediocre scent.. reminds me too much of Brut-33 to take this to a scent of Penhaligons quality...

10 ans que je porte ce parfum acheté dans la boutique Penhaligon Paris. Celui acheté en ligne n'est pas l'original. Bien que l'odeur soit similaire les premières fois, le parfum tourne pour changer d'odeur et ne sentir que l'alcool. Nous sommes loin du vrai parfum.

This is the real deal- not an imitation and the best price I have found anywhere. I was hesitant to share that as I want to hoard a few more before they're gone.As for the fragrance, Saratorial is outstanding, one of the few Penhalogon's fragrances that DOES NOT turn into a huge bouquet of roses within 20 minutes and follow me around all day like a wreath -roses, roses, roses!!It's layered and complex and brooding and dark and goes through several evolutions during the course of the day but never loses its character. Despite the heavy tone it always feels surprising fresh and clean. Set aside the whole bespoke tailor imagery, this is a solid classic masculine fragrance that exudes class and style. If this were produced 40 years ago it would have been considered a masterpiece. It is not a bright aquatic, non descript fragrance, or over the top bomb of body spray, it's for a more mature wearer (I'm 43) and wreaks of refinement. This is for jacket and tie, a bit too indoors for polo shirt and shorts.The only Penhalogin's that works for me, and I've tried a few.
