Tate and Lyle Sugars Fairtrade Gingerbread Coffee Syrup 750 ml

This syrup had mixed reviews, but it was much cheaper than the Monin syrup, so I thought that I would give it a try. I found that I had to use 2 teaspoons, where I would normally use one sugar. It tastes pleasant, with no aftertaste. It's not quite as strong as the Monin version, but is good for the price.

I love Tate and Lyle salted caramel syrup in my coffee so thought I’d try this one. It’s okay and it does taste like gingerbread but could do with a touch more flavouring just to give it that bit more oomph.

Tasted awful, with a taste of cough mixture. Nothing like the Monin version.

The gingerbread flavour is good but this isn’t syrup, it’s too watery!

Had previously bought more expensive brand and was a little concerned that this more realistically priced brand would not be as good. I needn't have worried, the taste was as good and I will be buying this brand in future and will be looking for other flavours
