Williams mug shaving soap - 1.7 oz

Since i started tradtional wet shaving i've always been curious about williams mug shaving soap, so i pushed the boat out and purchased a puck of it..the verdict ?..After a 10 minute soak in hot water, i rubbed the soap directly into my stubble,'like a shave stick' then with a soaked wet omega boar brush i started to face lather, after a few minutes i was was rewarded with a acceptable very slick lather for my shave.would i buy it again! probably not, because for what it costs with the postage i can buy 4 palmolive shave sticks for the price, all said though it a soap worth having & trying.

A ok soap, not my fav, but old school scent

Picked this up on holiday. Thought it was mediocre, left me a little dried up. Somehow made it home and in my soft water it's really quite good. However, I don't think it's quite worth the postage. I can get a stick of Palmolive for 50p, or a tub of Wilkinson Sword for about the same.

Great product

Smells 80% like a wet dog, 20% lemon. Lather is poor, the blade doesn't glide at all, dries the skin.

Outstanding lather just needs loads of water
