Good for wide calf boots as well
Not a lot to add to what other people have said, so I'll focus on the positives for wide calved ladies like myself. Having tried some cheaper ones from a well known auction site, which arrived looking like they'd been through the wars, these turned up well packed and ready to go. Squeezing the handle causes the front and back plate to shrink in towards the central stem, allowing them to slip into narrow calf boots. However, squishing into narrow calved boots is not a problem I have, since I'm cursed with wide calves and my footwear reflects that. I tried these out on extra wide calf Dublin boots (On the left in my line up) which have a calf width of 47cm, a wide fitting pair of Heavenly Feet boots with a calf width of 44cm (On the right of the photo), and some standard calf width El Naturalista boots (In the centre of the photo) which I love but rarely get to wear. For the really wide Dublins, the boot tree just fell in. It does seem to be doing the job of keeping the boot upright, even though the plates don't really make contact with the internal area of the boots. Obviously, I couldn't pick the boots up using the boot tree though - they just slipped out in my hand. For the Heavenly Feet boots, the boot trees did a great job. The plates made contact with the front and back of the calf area, and had enough pressure that if I picked up the boot tree, the boot came with it. Brilliant. The standard calf width boots were not a problem at all. I think they were just pleased to have something which kept them from falling over at last!Overall, yes, I'm pleased with these. They do what they're supposed to do easily for boots with a calf width of up to 44cm. Any wider and they're no better than putting a stick inside your boots, and you'd probably want to look up an alternative which can cope with that. I can say with some certainty that you get what you pay for. These do a great job. I wish they weren't so expensive, but such is the price of having a boot collection far bigger than I should ;)

Well made and fast delivery
I have rather a lot of long winter boots, some of which were becoming uncomfortable due to creasing around the ankle area after being stored out of season. I had a couple of pairs of boot trees which I used to rotate but these have just made my life easier and hopefully will prolong the life of my boots. Really well made - would highly recommend.

FANTASTIC!!!!
I was sceptical about these... however, I really needed something to support my knee length boots and knee high ones and these are PERFECT and will be back to buy another set to do the other boots I have. They are very sturdy and worth the money. I took the plunge and bought these as I read the reviews and I'm so glad I did.

You get what you pay for!
I nervously ordered these boot-shapers as I thought they were a bit expensive, so the next week I ordered some cheaper ones from a different provider: there is no comparison. These are excellent, sturdy and really shape the boot whereas the cheaper are . . . well, one gets what one pays for. So I would strongly recommend this product. Thank you.

Excellent high quality product
Excellent trees to keep the boot upright. Best part is that they are slight bigger than the boots but can temporarity shrink with the mechanism at the back, which not only makes easier to insert or remove them, but also fit snugly and keep the boot crease-free. A bit expensive than rest of the products but so merits are worth spening that little bit extra. Quality is good and they look durable.

Great - perfect job
Just as expected, these do the job - I have one pair in some Dubarry wellies - they are easy to remove quickly and then put back when you come in - you just squeeze up the lever at the top and they become narrower for easy removal or replacement. They stop the wellies creasing above the ankle and bending over permanently. They are also good for any long fashion boots. V similar to others I have for that purpose. Good price too.

Great - worth the extra money.
These are slightly wider and the spring is firmer than alternatives I've bought - this is a big plus as they keep the boots taut without stretching them, and it means you can pick the boots up with the handles on the trees and makes sure they stand up in the cupboard.
