It’s very powerful and this is definitely not something you want to get to hand to a tween or teen who may be having a spa day or spa themed birthday party. It’s too powerful and really needs to be used with very close adult supervision even with really smart kids. The product is NOT marketed to adults so that’s not a negative but it’s something consumer should be aware of.The callus remover itself does what it says it’s going to do. It is really powerful and if you have any problems with grip strength in your hand or arm strength in your forearm this may prove to be difficult to maneuver. it will definitely get rid of dead layers of skin, but you need to read the directions and know that the rough wheel is AGAIN powerful so unless you have very dry, thick cracked skin on your heels start off with the LIGHTER wheel to get the hang of using the device.I do not believe the price point of this particular item is worth the value at $20, yes, it works, but it’s not very sturdy and it would take one accidental drop from my couch to the floor, and it would probably fall apart. it will depend on your skin thickness, but I have my doubts that the wheels will last very long without dulling .What made me keep the item though is the bonus pedicure set because at least where I live there are true pedicure tools in there that are not generally made available to the public unless you have an aesthetician license and buy them from a special beauty supply store. Examples are toenail cutters that are meant to deal with ingrown nails that have additional razor edge blades on them, as well as some very sharp cuticle tools. Again, the bonus set was worth the purchase, but it is definitely a professional manicure pedicure set and I could see safety being concerned if people haven’t been trained to properly use those tools.
