Came quickly, and well packaged. Holds heat in better than normal cup/mug. However, i used this with an Aeropress and the mug basically blew-up. I applied pressure, and at close to bottom of the stroke, the mug converted its glass-like structure to a material closely resembling dynamite, and it exploded, as in exploded like a hand-grenade from a Schwarzenegger film. my genital area, lower stomach and upper legs were splattered with broken glass and coffee. The good news is that my heart got a short, sharp work out, and my underpants are capable of protecting my junk from scalding coffee. Other than its explosive properties, these are great mugs.

We bought a pair of these with a view to using them to replace some old glass mugs we had. They were so nice that we gave them as presents to some of our friends and went ahead and reordered more. We now have eight of them and they are in everyday use. All our old mugs have now gone. We initially thought they might be a bit delicate but have since dropped two of them on the carpet but they did not break. If there is anything to complain about it is that they are a bit unstable with a base much smaller than the rim.

There comes a time of day when you want to make a proper cup of coffee but its never the same in your old chipped mugs. These Bistro Mugs are very stylish, keep the coffee warmer longer and stay cool on the outside. When you first pick them up they feel so light weight that you might be concerned. However, they are durable and make my coffee taste so much nicer!!! Well worth the cost, 5 stars from me.

I've held off writing a review for about a month to see how the mugs survive a good few uses and washes in a dishwasher. So far I love them - no problems: keep the drink hot, but outside is cool to the touch; come out beautifully clear from the dishwasher, no leaks etc. They feel very light and if dropped on a hard surface I suspect lots of tiny glass fragments, but I don't expect to drop them! Nice to drink from.

The bottom of the mug has a small hole filled with glue. When that eventually came out. It became impossible to keep the internal layer of glass clean.After using these for more than a year I accidentally broke one. The glass didn't shatter into a lot of sharp fragments. One small piece broke off and it was pushed inside the double wall of the mug. So it was easy to clean up with no risk of cuts :) A significant factor with a couple of cats in the house.

Perfect to make coffees from coffe machines look awesome!And they keep the drink warmer for longer which is handy for somone that get so easily distacted by amazon!

Handle broke off after less than a fortnight!! Just holding this with tea in it when I heard a crack. Held the cup with my other hand and the handle just fell off! Very unhappy.

These mugs feel very light - which is a good thing - and the walls are cool to the touch. However the drink is kept no hotter than it would be in a normal mug. It therefore defeats the object as I do take a while to drink my tea.
