Don't usually go for faux leather but this hat looks great . Well built, stitching looks great , and comfortable. Looks and feels like real leather. Solid Value.

Bought this just before the 2018 cold snaps hit south Texas. I have several caps and hats. Two fur-lined trapper hats I wore thirty-five years ago in north-west Pennsylvania at temperatures of -20 Celsius are still in a drawer, but I've never worn them in Texas. Except for those two fur-lined caps, my Sumolux cap is now my warmest. Usually, I've had to use ear-muffs whenever the temperature drops below 10 Celsius to avoid incredible cold-weather headaches. But the fold-down ear-warmers of this cap have been enough all the way down below freezing to -5 Celsius. My Sumolux cap is my new cold weather favorite!

Great cold weather cap!

The hat really looks like good quality and well made... except for the dinky ear flaps. If I wear the hat as I normally would and leave the ear flaps down, my ears get cold. The only way I can get the ear flaps to fully cover my ears is to open the headband adjuster enough to slide the hat way down over my head; so far that it mostly covers my eyes.I'm trying to find a thin stocking cap to wear under the hat instead of using the ear flaps now.

I've bought this as a Christmas gift.Looked very nice and sophisticated on the pictures, unwrapped it at home and it looks more like a 1980s Gay ( sorry! ) Dominatrix portrayal ( think Police Academy! ). I can't give that to a 16yo Boy. :(
