I've been fighting algae for a while in my freshwater aquarium. I managed to get it to stop growing through a combination of reduced light, PhosGuard and Easycarbo however the algae still present was difficult to remove. I used this peroxide to get rid of the last stubborn bits, by doing the following:1) First I diluted some peroxide (1 part peroxide from this bottle, with 2 parts water) in a spray bottle2) Turned off my filter3) Sprayed approximately 5 - 10 times on various areas of algae in the tank4) Left this for half an hour. The algae should start to bubble5) Did a big water change6) Turned the filter back onI did this over a number of days and found it got rid of the algae very well. However by warned I did notice an increase in ammonia for a short time so make sure you test your water regularly if you do this. Also don't add too much to your tank at once otherwise it can kill your fish.

Hydrogen peroxide kills microorganisms by oxidising them, breaking down organic materials into oxygen & water. It is a great non toxic cleaning agent.It has many uses throughout the home - I use 3% strength for personal care such as treating cuts & skin infections and for treating fungal infections (like athletes foot).I use 6% for household cleaning - simply mix 50/50 with water in a spray bottle & use on any hard surface to disinfect. For an added boost I spray first with hydrogen peroxide immediately followed by a spray of vinegar... This creates a temporary bleaching reaction. Rinse surfaces well after wiping down.I add a cup full of hydrogen peroxide to my laundry whites (along with home made laundry detergent) - the bleaching action keeps my whites looking bright and is both skin and environmentally friendly.It's also great for cleaning glass & mirrors.

Product took longer to arrive than expected and when opened package it was wet and measuring cap broken ended up with slight burns as product had been leaking

Does what it should an item worth the money should something go wrong with your pond.

I use this is a very highly diluted form in an outdoor water feature and it prevents the feature turning green. About ½ a cap full every month.This size bottle should last for years.

Bought this as I had heard about using it for DIY tooth whitening. For this purpose I can't complain about the product, it's just bottled differently than other Hydrogen Peroxide and if you ignore the fish on the package, there's no difference.

I used this for a kids science experiment called Elephant Toothpaste (youtube it). Worked brilliantly, the kids thought it was amazing
