WORKS AS ADVERTISED
I would not consider myself a real handy guy, but managed to get this done. It is a painful process. You have to pretty much have to take your whole brand new dryer apart to install this. I will say if you are willing to try or handy, it does the trick.

Does not Work with GFD55GSS
Description says it works with models GFD, so I ordered it. This has different threads than my model requires.
