This is the second one of these I got. The first one was badly cracked and Amazon sent a replacement.The picture quality on this is really good. It's not iPad quality, but you're going to be looking at it from across the room. Unless closer than arm's length you're unlikely to be able to tell the difference.The screen is bright and visible, even in a bright room.I don't use the clock/alarm/calendar stuff because I just want to look at photos but they're there if you want.Most people are probably going to use the app to load photos, though there is a MicroSD slot and USB. The app is just OK. With the app you can give access to other people so they can upload photos directly to your frame. Once it's set up and connected to wifi there's nothing you really need to do, so as long as an older family member has wifi this would make a great gift.

This frame replaced a 10 year old digital frame and was about the 5th frame I tried, some had distorted display ratios and others were impossible to set up. But this one was a breeze, Almost right out of the box. I did have to buy an adapter for my SD card to load the old frames pictures, but once I had that the pictures loaded easily. And while the app isn’t the best, it easily sends pictures to my frame. I haven’t shared the code with family, so I don’t have an opinion on how that works.We are really pleased with this frame! The display size is great and the random features really seems to mix the pictures up.My only complaint and reason for not giving it 5 stars is the Motion Sensor. The max running time is 30 minutes. I currently have it turned off and the frame comes on in the morning and off at bedtime. If we’re going to be gone a long time I power it down.I’ve also found Customer Service to be very responsive. The few emails and questions I sent were always answered promptly

*** update..... after posting this, the company reached out to me to offer a replacement frame. I have recieve it and it works wonderfully! They were very helpful and kept me posted every step! Thank you 😊This has great picture quality and easy to upload pics. But for some reason the motion detector works only when it wants too. It will do fine for a day and then it won't work. It acts like it wants to come on but will only display a black screen with a dim light in the back. If I unplug it and plug it back in it will work for about another day or so and then do the black screen until I unplug it and plug it back in.

I bought two of these frames: a 16" and a 10.1" for gifts. The first one seemed to work well and so I bought a second one so I could easily load pictures to both frames using the same app. It seemed to work at first, but then I noticed that I couldn't edit--I couldn't swap out pictures or "revoke" them from the 2nd added frame. When I contacted customer service, they were no help, eventually admitting that the APP is the issue and needs updated. I asked how to update their APP and they said there were no updates available yet and that they would contact me when and IF the APP update became available.In short, if you buy this frame you run the risk of uploading pictures that you can't take off of the frame unless you factory reset the frame. In my case, the frames were given as gifts so those receiving the frames are forever stuck with the same photos unless they do a factory reset and that will delete everyone's photos who have contributed to the frame. I would not buy these frames again. (Also, there is minimal instructions or troubleshooting information for these frames; there is no customer service number that you can call either. One must email the problem and wait 24-72 hours for a minimal reply.)

This is the best digital picture frame that I have owned. I have tried my other name brands and this one is by far the best one. You can do videos and pictures . It comes in a huge size. And you can link multiple ones together.

I bought two of these as gifts for family members and loaded them up with 3-400 family pictures. The display is really large and bright, and it is easy to add photos to the frame. The recipients (my wife and my father-in-law) can't stop watching the frame! Right now we have the motion detector turned off, but may give it a try. Very pleased with the purchase!

After having these devices we'll over 4 months, it freezes up, shuts off, I unplug, reset it, works for a couple days and does it again, I tried emailing customer support and get an unknown email return. How do you get ahold of customer support with a bad emIl????VERY DISAPPOINTEDI purchased 1 during prime day, turned around and purchased 3 more, one to give to my senior mom 2nd to gift to my son, 3rd to step daughter. Love the big frame compared to others that are way to small.

Easy to use. Perfect for a gift for any occasion. The timer allows you to have it play whenever you please. Perfect to rotate family photos and take up little room.

This made my elderly aunt incredibly happy. She couldn't have loved it more, I even got her to pick out photos she likes. She chose some from her childhood, of us, of her loved ones who have passed and most importantly happy memories. She laughed and smiled and it was much easier than I anticipated. However, the home screen I found a bit confusing and I personally didn't try nor need the music feature so I can't say whether or not that's easy to set up! Overall I could not be more grateful :)
