Purchased as a gift for my 18 year old grandson who just accepted Christ and will be baptized this coming Saturday. He does not have what his mother calls an "adult" Bible, he will now and he can study God's word in his quiet place. He will have it when he goes to college this fall and it will serve him very well. He will have a bazillion questions and this will help him find the answers.

This is a beautifully crafted book with exhaustive verse-by-verse commentary which has helped me gain a much better understanding of the passages that I’m reading.

The study notes really turned my grandson around. He is reading daily & discussing this with others

I am somewhat of a Bible snob. I own several study Bibles and multiple translations. The CSB has been a translation that has become my go to over the years. I have always been on watch for the perfect study Bible. One that has a great quality cover and paper, helpful study notes, charts maps and photos. This Bible has all of those. This is by far my favorite Study Bible and it just may be the last Bible I purchase!! I love this Bible and it has exceeded my expectations.

I have historically read quite a number of various translations and have enjoyed this translation of the Scripture tremendously. The most important particular in reference to this translation is the updated terminology which adds significantly to better understanding and the creation of more viable "pictures". In reading the book of Hebrews, I am convinced that this was the best development of this particular book I have read.At this point, having read about half of the Bible in this version, I cannot say I have found anything that is a negative. This is an enjoyable read.

I am a Pastor and a “Study Bible Junkie.” I don’t limit myself to one translation, but I use several for sermon and Bible study preparation. The translation, study notes, and articles are theologically reasonable. I have found some notes that lean to a “Cesationiet” point of view which do not subscribe to. However, for the most part the notes are very balanced. I really like the binding. When I ordered it, I didn’t know it would be goatskin. It seems to be very good quality.

Let me start by saying that I love this translation. The word studies are great also and the interior of the Bible is beautiful. However, the leather (if it’s really leather because it feels a like painted fake leather/cardboard...also smells NOTHING like leather) is the worst and cheapest “leather” I’ve ever seen in a Bible in my 26 years of being a Christian and having owned many. I would not recommend getting this in the leather. I’ve had it a few days and the brown has rubbed off on several spots. I’ve been known to paint designs on Bibles and have never had a problem with adherence or anything. I was not going to paint this Bible, but because it is rubbing off/chipping, I ended up painting it and the paint is not adhering like my other Bibles. Frankly the supposed “genuine leather” cover is also very thin. Not sure what I’ll do to try and preserve it because I really do like the content. Disappointing!!! I will be writing Holman! I couldn’t return it even if I hadn’t painted it because I added index tabs. Better off with the hard cover or “leather touch” for sure.

The CSB Bible is very easy to read and understand. The study notes are most helpful and the brown leather cover is soft and durable

I have the KJV, NKJV, HCSB and the Biblia de Estudio Holman, the three are excellent bibles with a enough content

Love this Bible. An absolute joy to read and makes use of very up to date scholarship.

Não sei se a foto acima é capaz de mostrar isso, mas este livro merece uma menção honrosa no quesito "legibilidade". As fontes não são grandes, mas a impressão é impecável e isso torna todas as seções (até as referências) perfeitamente legíveis, mesmo para quem usa óculos de leitura. Por fim, desta vez a descrição não é enganosa: a capa é realmente de couro.Só o que me desagrada nesta edição são as "letras vermelhas" e a ausência dos "apócrifos", mas quem compra uma bíblia de estudos protestante não tem o direito de reclamar dessas coisas. Nota máxima.

Well lated out. Good information that has a few different opinions on things. Sturdy build. Clear to read and see the print. Recommended. Got it for £45 and happy with this purchase
