Cokin BP-400 P Series Filter Holder

I wanted to extend my exposure times for Landscape photography, so I needed a filter holder capable of holding 3 ND filters. This is lightweight, sturdy and easy to attach and with it being relatively inexpensive, represented decent value for money, I see no reason why it will not last for many years and give good service.

I should have brought this first time round ... I brought a cheaper copy and should have brought this ..the polariser slot is perfect .. insert flat side towards you in the first slot nearest the ring adaptor .. the other 2 slots are then available to take the square filters.. you can then turn the polariser with the teeth rather than rotating the whole filter holder.

As i have reviewed before, cokin system is pricey for what it is but the quality is good. As this piece is essential to the use of cokin kit, i guess that's why they price it more reasonable than all the additional filters etc, as once you buy into this piece, all other pieces are noticeably expensive. so be sure that you want to buy into the long term investment. cokin is a system..you would not just buy this and 1 filter on its own. in that case you should be looking at individual screw-in filters in my view.

I bought this as a replacement for the cheaper no name version and the difference was immediately apparent. the lens adapter ring fitted smoothly without distortion and the filters seemed to fit much easier without being loose. Just proves you get what you pay for and in this case the branded product wins.

This product is ok but not fantastic. It did the job well on several uses but the fitting is a bit insecure; at least on my camera, and I lost a part.If you intend to use it frequently I suggest buying a better quality product. I f you only need it really it should be ok.

Great device, disappointing that you can't get filters from the maker cokin direct as they don't post outside of France

Perfect and a decent price too, fits the Cokin polarising filter which the imitations don't. Also fits the Nuance filters no problem. Overall very happy.

There isn't a lot to say about this, it gets the job done but isn't the highest quality filter holder money can buy, it feels a little cheap and putting a thicker filter in the end slots requires more force than I am entirely comfortable with. For most people this will be great, my only note is that you can't use it on lenses wider than about 15mm-ish, if you need to then go for Cokins z range or a lee filter set which if my budget would stretch I would buy in a heart beat.

It does what it was made to do. Fit my Pentex K1000

C est du plastique maleureusement. Mais pour le prix c est parfait. Mieux que certaines copie chinoise !!! Facile à utiliser sans forcer.

Si estás empezando con la larga exposición es la mejor opción. Mejor empezar por lo bajo y luego si se sube de nivel pues ya irás subiendo de calidad, que se nota, pero para empezar, no se pide más
