I have had this type of pillow since I Was 9! I am shocked that they are so hard to find and that people do not even know they exist! It is the perfect sleep pillow. Side or back sleepers will find it amazing - great cloud like support. None of that unforgiving memory foam that locks your head in place and it doesn't hold heat like they do so no sweating. This is springy, but firm. Your head is cradled, you don't sink into it like the feather types. If price is an issue, think about it: You won't be replacing it constantly as you do with the $15 - $20 specials! Mine is 5. I bought this one for my husband after he kept complaining about all the other types of pillows mentioned! He kept trying to steal mine. One thing: It is a bit thick so I find king size pillow cases work much better.

I've been using the Pure Natural Talalay Latex pillow for a few weeks now and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. If you want a firm latex pillow, this is NOT the one you want. It is not even close to how it is advertised. It comes out of the box flat. So after following the instructions to allow it to expand, it still didn't expand. After following the instructions to soak and dry, it still didn't expand. Oh, zipper on the outer case breaks very easily as well. When you write to the seller to explain all of this, their response is that you've "exceeded the 30 day free trial period". How is there a 30-day free trial period when you pay at the time of order? I never asked for a return or my money back. I asked for a replacement outer case because the zipper broke. Bottom line, this pillow is NOT firm, nor is it comfortable.

This pillow is very good quality, made very well, and has two covers - an inner one and a very nice outer one. Unfortunately for me, I just couldn't get used to the height of this pillow. One night I lasted 5 hours until I went back to my old latex pillow, and since then I've only used it maybe at most a half hour before I switch back. I'm a side sleeper and like to scrunch my pillow and this pillow isn't scrunchable. I really wanted to like this, but I think it's going to be relegated to the spare bedroom bed, since I'm now past the date when I could have returned it. There is a slight odor to it when it arrives and honestly even after a month I still notice it but not as much. It's not a horrible odor but you do notice it. If you like a latex pillow that's on the higher side, then I would recommend this one.

The pillow is comfy enough. It could be slightly more supportive. The latex smell is still as strong as day one. I bought this about a month ago or more at this point, and, at around $100 a pillow, I feel other pillows can meet my needs better and without the smell.

I am a warm sleeper. So I have been researching pillow material that dissipates heat the best. No one material is perfect, but latex is the best of the rest for dissipating heat. My previous pillow was shredded memory foam, which became lumpy overtime and retained too much body heat. This latex pillow is exactly the right firmness that I was looking for, holds its shape, and regulates my body temperature. I liked it so much that I bought a second. There are few things that you use every day that will improve your life like a good pillow. This is an excellent pillow. The natural latex smell takes a while to get used to and will lesson overtime but it has not gone away completely after four months. If you are sensitive to the smell of latex, this may not be the pillow for you.

I was very pleased with the high-end packaging. I purchased this "firm" latex foam pillow because my present latex foam pillow is over 15-yrs old and is no longer providing the support I need for my head, neck and shoulders (I am a side and back sleeper). This new pillow has just the right amount of thickness and firmness, yet retains the classic springiness latex foam pillows are known for.I am a 60+yr. old male, 265-lbs. with mild scoliosis and peripheral neuropathy. I have enjoyed 2 full nights of restorative, restful sleep for once in a great while.

Packaged well .Ordered FIRM what I got was Very soft not what a firm pillow should be .maybe 3" high at best not 5.5" as described .
