I’m a big fan of J. S. Scott’s books and a big fan of this series. I’ve been anxiously awaiting Xander’s story and this didn’t disappoint.This follows Xander. The broken one of the Sinclair’s. He’s shut off and lost. Samantha arrives and pretty much throws him back into living.This book had it all. It was emotional, my heart broke for Xander at times. It was sexy, romantic and sweet, but with a few twists and turns added in. I was emotionally invested from the get go and devoured the book in one sitting. I cared about the characters and was cheering for them to get their happy ending.The writing was great and the plot flowed well. Samantha and Xander were fantastic together. I loved their dynamic and journey that they went through in this story.This was an excellent addition to this series and I loved every minute. I’d definitely recommend to romance fans and I can’t wait for the next book in this great series.

I absolutely loved this particular novel in the series. Xander is some Alpha damaged male, both physically, mentally and emotionally. Samantha also has many facets and secrets. The two share a link which unfolds with the advancing story. The Sinclair ‘s are one wonderful family both immediate and extended, and so united and supportive. Xander, is kind, tormented, scarred, scared and messed up and alone. Samantha is lonely, searching and needy. This novel made me cry in places, laugh in others and gave me that warm rosy glow at the end.However it left me disappointed, because I had finished the book and I wanted more. Greedy I know but I really thought this couple were superb, and so emotionally involved. It was wonder to read and experience through words, their ecstatic unity. For those who desire a truly romantic novel this is for you. However this is not a stand alone and all previous books should be read before to understand the brief appearance and occasional chapters of fire mentioned characters. Enjoy. Liam’s turn next.

It was heartfelt and it hit a nerve on my personal life. Author J.S. Scott manages to approach a very difficult theme as drug and alcohol addiction in a delicate way, proving once more why she is such a talented writer. I felt so much whilst reading this book I was completely transfixed and it was a tough but rewarding journey knowing Xander and Samantha's story.A MUST READ !!5 STARS

I loved this story, it deals with addiction, heartbreaking loss of family members to murder as well as the love between Xander and Samantha. I've cried, laughed and loved along with them. I've also face palmed when they have said or done something hurtful, I've cried out ' No!!' and spoken to this book more than any other I've read. My new favorite Billionaire is Xander but I think that's inevitable because of all he has been through. Thanks Jan for yet another amazing story, you certainly hit the spot with every book in this series xx

WOW!! This book landed on my kindle just after midnight and i could not put it down! I will be honest I have been waiting for Xander Sinclair for a long time and wow the utter emotion in this book had me bawling and sobbing. I was so invested in the story i loved Xander and Samantha equally they just fit so perfect together. This book is an emotional rollercoaster one which left me compleletly satisfied and when it was done i wanted to jump straight back on and ride again. A Fantastic, Emotional, Engaging, heartbreaking, perfectly perfect story!
