The media could not be loaded.  I have put this Beast through the ringer every day, some times twice a day (with 2 batteries it comes with, why not) and it is unstoppable!! I have all but tried to break it and its incredible! Driveway gravel, heavy dirt, light rain, steady rain, small puddles, bigger puddles. Wet and dry grass. Full on MUD, Pavement, concrete, dirt roads and Now, snow! Falling snow and snow almost an inch deep. (This I may regret since it built up under the shell on the chassis. So we'll see..) it has rocked, every task and I'm having a blast doing it. No real jumps, just off a small deck onto grass and off an old barn door.It's taken some heavy, head on collisions and the only thing wrong with it is,1) lost a body clip2) one of the headlights is out because the wire got stripped from me not paying attention putting the shell on3) some scratches on the shell. ( if you dont flip it over, you won't get them)THAT'S IT!I'm not taking care of it either!! I put it up wet, muddy, dusty, and take it out again with NO ISSUE!!SUPER FAST, easy to handle once you get the hang of it. Make adjustments on steering trim, acceleration and the steering ratio easily on the controller. Even if you dont know what any of that means, it's easily learnable. Battery lasts about 20 min, full out running. Then automatically cuts to 10% speed so you can bring it back to you! Your remote will beep and let you know it's time to stop!If the snow I drove it in tonight finally does it in (which I seriously doubt will happen) I'll will ABSOLUTELY buy another one! SO WORTH the purchase.I'm not an expert, I'm new to these RC cars. I'm sure some things could be done to upgrade and improve the steering and control and I know I could be taking better care of it and cleaning it.But it's still a champ!!

I was able to pick this up for $34 with a coupon and for that price it is worth it, The controller for the price is really nice and feels better in the hand than some more expensive trucks. The frame and chassis and body look nice for the price range and size of 1/16 scale. It drove good, kinda slow since it is a Brushed truck and not Brushless but that could be upgraded in the future. The faults I would give it is that it uses screws instead of the standard nuts to hold the wheels on which could be a issue due to torque slowly unscrewing them so make sure to check them every so often and the included batteries use mini Tamiya plugs but I snipped them off and replaced them with a more popular to use EC3 plugs. The included two batteries are nothing to write home about but can be upgraded and using ones I have it, picked up power a little more. If you can catch it on sale and you have a new little one to try on RC grab it.

Slow charging, battery dies fast, the cover busted easy. If it touches objects it just shuts down. Really fast, good suspension

This is very fast but very delicate. It broke with normal use, I returned it and got another. That one broke too and the company did not respond to my inquiry. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I came back here to buy another one.I bought my first one about 3 years ago. The Desert Racer has been the best cheap rc car I’ve found so far. I’m in my 60 s and have been in the rc hobby for about a decade now and this little car is still fun. It’s not really upgradable or crazy fast but it’s fast enough and it’s tough as nails. I still use my first one simply because it’s a fun ,no hassle carto drive around my little dead end street. A good choice to get someone into the hobby or anyone really looking for a simple car to drive around without having to tinker with it.Highly recommended . I think I’ll get the red one this time.

This truck is fast and powerful enough that it will easily run on a grass lawn or on a sandy beach. That being said it will get damaged if it gets away from you and crashes. Only a few replacement parts are available and the only place I can find repacement parts online from exhobby.com which is in China so it takes weeks to get them.

I love this it is a lot of fun it’s recharable. The remote control is easy to use. Has good speed I’m 63 years old I play with it daily to pass the time.

The truck is fast and fun right out of the box. I ran into an issue with it and amazon failed to help any at all so I reached out directly to racent and they went above and beyond to ensure I could get back to enjoying this speed demon of a truck!
