Not easy to get adjusted to the proper amount of support. I found it uncomfortable for longer than 30 minutes and loosen up easily. I would look elsewhere for solutions.

I had a severe MTP joint sprain. I tried several solutions. But tape and moleskin-based solutions did not stay on well (sweaty feet) and many other solutions were bulky or made things difficult. This one works well for hours at a time, stays in place, can generally be worn with sneakers. It does need occasional re-adjustment, but that is easy enough.

Have a sore big toe from quick take offs during tennis. Need some support so I don’t bend it back so much. That said, it seemed this brace would help and it does, however I have thin ankles and felt the small size would fit well. I can barely attach the Velcro so it stays put. It’s not very comfortable around the toe either. If you give it a try you might want to get a larger size

I have turf toe. This brace works well with keeping my toe stabilized and preventing it from hyper extending. The only downside is it doesn't work well with my cleats.
