MMO Skyrim Lite.
Containing both the Elder Scrolls Online base game and a code for the Morrowind DLC, this was cheaper than just buying the Morrowind DLC on the Playstation store. The game plays a lot like Skyrim and if you have played that game you will recognise the user interface immediately. What will be startling is the number of other players swarming around quest givers in the starting areas. Each with their own non-combat pet, the screen can feel very cluttered at the beginning, and the number of people talking at the same time can be off-putting. If you want to just quest by yourself, I recommend muting the local area chat, then going off and exploring the less populous areas. This is an MMO though, and there are ample opportunities to join up with other players and take on some of the missions together, or some PvP action. Some missions that are tough to do by yourself will benefit from teaming up with friends, or joining a clan. The scale of the game is huge though, which was brought home to me when I realised that Skyrim, or the accessible part of it at least, was just one region of the map!Graphically, this looks somewhere between PS3 and PS4 quality; with some pleasant to look at scenery. There are a number of smaller expansions you can buy with Crowns, the premium currency purchased from the Playstation Store, but you get so much content here that you won't lack for enough to do. You are required to be an active PS+ member, but there is no monthly subscription required.

review
Review a really good expansive game great visuals that are only let down by the need to not get stuck in Abney holes that require having to start again which can be most annoying but apart from that it is Avery aesthetically pleasing but still feels somewhat of a let down compared to other titles in the top notch series from Bethesda.

As pretty as the case and disc is
As pretty as the case and disc is, the price isn't worth it. On disc is just the standard Elder Scrolls Online which when installed as a massive 40 odd gig update. Whereas morrowind is just an unlock code. But I'm an Elder Scrolls fan so, I "accidentally" rated it well.

An excellent RPG, but I think a bit let down by the insistence on MMO elements; it can get a bit repetitive.

Good game ..... BUT the disc requires a 50GB download and locks Morrowind to your PSN account!
Good game ...... BUT ......Arrived on time, undamaged. The online reviews often criticise the performance of the PS4 pro build of this game. Personally, on my PS4 pro, I haven't noticed any significant performance issues yet and I played the original ESO on XB1 ....... PS4 pro seems no worse so far.I normally buy games on physical disk, so that when I finish with them I can trade them in or give them to friends or charity. Be aware that ESO:Morrowind appears to be an 'ESO disk and a Morrowind keycode'. I inserted the disk ....... and it did a 50GB 'update' download of the game. Unless you have fast unlimited internet you will have a big problem. Less "go and have a cup of tea while it downloads", more like "go and complete a 2000 piece jigsaw while it downloads" ! Next, in the box, there is the card with a key printed on it and instructions to log into your playstation ID and redeem the code through the Playstation Store. My understanding is that this 'one use code' will lock the Morrowind game licence to your account, So, you've basically bought the base ESO disk and the Morrowind DLC. Thats right, no other DLC, just the base game + Morrowind DLC, so if you don't already have the other DLC (Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood ........) be prepared to reach for your wallet again.I've always loved the fantasy world of Tamriel (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, ESO, Skyrim Remastered, ESO:Morrowind) and I enjoyed the ESO game, but I find this locked down for Morrowind strangely distasteful. Sell us a Morrowind disc with the game on, and give us reasonable size updates - a 50GB 'update' is just punitive, prohibitive and silly. By all means only let us play when our disc is in our PS4, but don't permanently software lock our game to our disc and account. What I have said may well be in the product description, in other reviews or eben public knowledge. Probably my fault for not realising it beforehand. I would still have bought the Morrowind DLC even if I had known before buying ....... and, if I had bought the download version, the disk account lock in would be irrelevant ...... but why is Morrowind on a confusing disk release when all the other DLCs aren't?

Elder scrolls is one of my favorite things and getting to go back to morrowind after all this time was amazing. Excellent value, arrived in a short time, no damage and perfect condition

Uninspiring and over-priced
I bought this with an expectation of an engaging adventure but after 6 hours was left disappointed. The first thing to perplex me was the icon on the PS4 home screen which was for ESO and not Morrowind, so I assume this is a DLC type addon, but then why charge over £40 for it?After the initial mission you are on the continent and able to lose yourself in the world. Graphics and sound are okay, nothing ground breaking, I would have liked some inspiring background music playing aka Skyrim. The map is too small and you cannot easily see the icons, also there is no minimap which can be frustrating trying to navigate. Monsters stand out in a red highlight so you can distinguish them from other players and NPC’s.Quest design is uninspired and is of the type, talk to person x, then talk to y, fetch item z, talk to someone else, enter dungeon, fight mobs, kill boss at the end, pickup mission item. If you spend any time in the inventory screen the mobs respawn after a minute so you notice you are taking damage, quit out of inventory and see you are surrounded by them again. It feels artificial and frustrating.Overall not worth £40, more like £20, returned for a refund. By contrast, Skyrim is a fantastic adventure and well worth trying, the Daedric Quests are great :-)
