He is beautiful. He is great. And he is actually 20" like they said. I was worried when he came vacuum sealed as that almost always damages plushes. He fluffed up good, though the stuffing wanted to be lumpy. After a few minutes of massaging the stuffing around, he's good to go. He is cute and chubby and so realistic. I haven't seen much if any Salamander items out there in the world, and I just had to get him. Mine has his back end raised some, though his feet are on the ground as they should be, so he looks like he's saying "bring it". I guess I got the feisty one. I love him. 5 Stars.

Stitching looked nice, true to the pictures. did seem a bit small and could have been a little morte stuffed. but it is a super adorable product

My daughter loves it; now she has two of different colors. But axolotl are amphibians, not reptiles. Other corrections for the item description:- not a lizard- not lifelike (I'm quite certain real ones are not cuddly or fuzzy)- this one is yellow, not pink- native to a freshwater lake in Mexico; not "sea life" or "marine life"- "It's no different from real animals." ???- Sockeye Salmon is not a style of axolotlHA!Yes, it's cute. And if your kid (or whoever) is into them, they're great. Stick to the facts.

I read the specs, and still thought it would be much bigger.Still very cute, and very pleased.The size is going to be problematic for what I had planned, but I think it will work.Fans of Star Trek: Voyager understand what I mean.
