I can understand that there may be quality issues with mass-produced flat-pack items, so your mileage may vary!Bought to support a small TV for my bedroom, although this did easily support my weight when I sat down on it. Pieces came together very easily, and no missing parts (I actually had one spare of each of the screws/bolts), and it doesn't appear to have any stability issues on carpet. Slightly strange smell on getting out of the box, but I imagine this will fade with time.Would happily purchase again, and very tempted to get another. :D

Nice item but quality control a bit hit & miss. I bought two of these a few weeks apart. The first one was all fine other than one nut which was missing a thread – not a big deal as I found a replacement for this. The more recent one had bigger issues. One piece of wood on the side of the top/lid wasn’t attached so I had to glue it down. More seriously, the lid section had clearly been assembled incorrectly as the middle bolt holes on one side didn’t match up with theleg support, though other side was ok. I would have had to drill new holes to fit this but, with one side ok, it seems more than strong enough for my requirements so I left it without bolts on one side (& I couldn’t be bothered with the palaver of arranging pickup and redelivery from Amazon).

I've been hunting all over for a little shelf to stack all my paper in my studio and this does the job perfectly!It arrived fast and well packaged.The instructions were idiot-proof and it came with a little allen key to do the screws up. It probably took me less than 5 minutes to put it together.The shelves are a lovely grey colour and natural bamboo for the legs. It looks very smart.And it's solid. I've got about 12 reams of paper stacked under it and not a wobble. You'd have no problems perching your bum on this to do your boots up.I'm tempted to buy another one to replace the ugly shoe rack in my hallway!

Was amazed with the speed of delivery - very impressed. Was well packaged & very easy to put together. Was well impressed with the sturdiness. Looks good in my hallway :)

This product is adequate but the wood is very flimsy and soft. When we had to put it together some of the wood has already cracked and spit. We daren't sit on it even. Is the wood from a sustainable source even? Because Amazon makes it so hard to complain (well we find anyway) we have just given up trying. Always best to buy from a shop than online if you can. We will have to end up throwing it away.

Great little shoe rack for the price. Didn't want to spend much as it was bought as a temporary solution. I actually like how it looks and think it'll remain. It's especially good for narrow hallways or small rooms as it's not too deep.

Arrived quickly, well packaged and with clear instructions (inc spare screws).Only snag was I managed to get a splinter from one of the legs, whilst assembling it.Quite sturdy but wouldn't like to test it with my weight as a seat!

Excellent, slim enough to fit in the hallway and still get the pram around. Practical and excellent value for money. Easy to put together, took about 20mins with Alan key included
