Great for freshening up clothes - not so great for creases
The media could not be loaded. I have never owned a hand held steamer so when i came across this product i was excited to try it out.The steamer itself is very well constructed, it's smart in it's appearance, compact with a decent weight to it - not too heavy, but not to light that it feels cheap. The device is fairly simple to operate with only two buttons. The water tank twists off the bottom of the device and is easy to fill. Once the device is switched on you just press the large button at the back and the steamer will start to pulse green, once heated it will turn to a steady green light and then you just click the trigger on the front of the device to start the steaming function. I tried this on a linen shirt which is a tough test as linen is notoriously difficult to remove creases from. I have included a short video review for you to see this process. The steamer did little to remove the creases from my shirt. My second test was on my velvet type curtains, it worked well on these taking out the bottom creases and leaving them smelling fresh. I also tried this on our sofa (our dog is always on the sofa) so for piece of mind in killing any microbes and general freshening i was happy with the results.Included in the box are two attachments, the bristle one for smoothing out fabrics and a flat one for day to day steaming. You also get a safety glove, which i have to admit i didn't use. The power cord is an okay length however i did need to use a 13amp extension when i steamed my sofa.I did find the 15min steam claim from one water tank a little bit inaccurate, i was getting around 10mins before i needed to refill. One thing i would recommend this device for travelling - it's small and compact enough to stuff in a suitcase to take away with you to freshen your clothes. This device will definitely not replace your day to day iron, but that is not what it is designed for anyway. I will use the device mainly as a deodorising and bacteria killing device on my home furnishings. It will be a great device to use on my dogs bed!Would i recommend this product? I like the device, but didn't think the steam was powerful enough to remove tough creases from fabrics. For light creases and clothes/furniture freshening i would say it's a handy device to have around the home.I hope that you found my review helpful.

Average steamer
This handheld steamer is fairly easy to use, and works well on minimal creasing. Its not too large, therefore easy to carry about if youre travelling. However, it doesn't give out too much steam and more creased clothing/ heavier clothing takes a lot longer to get the results than you'd expect.Comes with accessories such as the heat protecting mitt.I think this works well as an average, basic steamer. But there may be better products within this price range for someone who steams rather than irons their clothing.

So far so good
Recently used for the first time as a quick fix for smoothing a few clothes and a shirt before packing in my case and I am really quite impressed, managed to hold it quite easily as it’s not too heavy and the attachments are quite handy too, no leaks and great heat worked a treat it’s a thumbs up from me

Works well if you’re unable to get to the ironing board
I was sceptical about the TICWELL Handheld Steamer for Clothes, in particular how well it would do compared to a standard iron. The handheld device is easy to put together, you just take off the reservoir and fill it with water, place it back on, plug in and you’re read to switch on. There is an additional head for brushing while ironing too, though I haven’t found a reason to use it beyond just testing it out yet.The device needs to heat to a certain temperature before use and an LED light shows when it’s ready. From there you find somewhere to hang the clothes (we used the shower curtain rail in the bathroom and a hanger) then steam away. It takes a while to get any wrinkles out but we’ve ironed shirts, trousers and jumpers with it and the thinner items work faster but still require about 10 minutes so it’s no faster than ironing traditionally. The one area it does excel is in space and, if you’ve little space like us, not having to worry about getting the ironing board out from it’s folded up position and dragging it across the room to set up.So it’s more suited to those with less space or who just want to iron a few items, say before work, or, perhaps, travel a lot and want to take it with them to a hotel to iron. It’s easy to use and does work with a bit of effort, so I can certainly recommend it in those cases.

Best kept secret
Honestly I HATE ironing and this has helped solve that problem. It's easy to use; isn't too bulky and is good value for money. The water tank does need refilling quite quickly but if the water tank was bigger then it would obviously be more bulky. Why had no one mentioned about these steamers before?
