The Theory Workbook Grade 6 from ABRSM has been an invaluable tool for my daughter’s music studies. It guided her step by step through the requirements of Grade 6 theory, and thanks to this workbook, she achieved a Distinction in her exam.The explanations are clear and concise, making even complex topics easy to understand. The progression through the material is well thought out, with plenty of exercises that reinforce each concept as you go. My daughter found the examples and practice questions particularly useful for building her confidence and understanding.The workbook is also laid out in a way that encourages independent learning. She was able to work through much of it on her own, with only occasional guidance needed, which is a testament to how well it is written and organised.For anyone preparing for Grade 6 theory, I cannot recommend this workbook highly enough. It provides everything you need to master the syllabus and approach the exam with confidence. A brilliant resource that truly delivers results.

Very good book.

This covers all that is required to pass grade 6 theory. However, I would thoroughly recommend finding a teacher to help you through as not at all easy to do on your own. Also, plan to do several past papers before taking the exam.

Bought for a school that I work for. Very quick delivery, and very good books, which you would expect from ABRSM material!

This book is wonderful for example questions, I did find some of the sections wordy and this book doesn’t really work if you’re trying to teach yourself grade 6 theory. But it’s useful for exam practice!

was in perfect condition when it arrived, the spine wasn't broken, the pages weren't bent and there was no writing on or in the book, it arrived in 4 days, just in time for my theory lesson!
