This cover is definitely not waterproof
The reason why you buy a cover is to protect the BBQ from getting wet and rust - this cover is not waterproof and it is a unnecessary effort to get the BBQ dry fit for use. It might be cheap but it is useless

The word WATERPROOF Needs to be removed from the description as this is definitely misleading and a lieHOWEVER it is better than nothing to give some protection from the elements, I am using it to cover a bench during winter, but yes you could spend a bit more and get a lot better
