It has a gorgeous smell and flavour. A 150g bag would be better for me, or even 200g, to be able to buy fresh more often, but the bag seems to keep it fresh for the duration date shown on it.

(Updated April 2021). Initial review below, I have since purchased this 3 more times. I do not believe this brand is cassia cinnamon and unsure why it receives negative comments as such. I have a small jar of supermarket cinnamon (bought to test this out) and I can certainly tell the difference between the two types. This cinnamon is powder and has no bits it in and blends seamlessly in use.---------------------------Have previously been buying supermarket cinnamon, but read that it is not pure and not as good as the Ceylon variety. This Ceylon cinnamon is darker and has more flavour. Thus, if you are using it you don't need a lot. I put it in porridge and whereas I used to sprinkle in quite a lot of the supermarket brand, this you can get away with a quarter teaspoon and still get a better flavour and it smells gorgeous. Tried the first time with a teaspoon and it my porridge looked like chocolate milk in the bowl!!!!! It is very finely ground and comes in a resealable package. For ease of use I have dispensed an amount into a tub to spoon out as required rather than keep opening the packaging. I will definitely purchase more when required.

I'm really, really happy with this product.I bought it for a friend who uses it to help with the weight loss.It's really difficult to get a quality Ceylon cinnamon in the shops, mostly you can only get the cassia variety, which doesn't have the same good properties as the Ceylon one.My friend was really happy with this. The scent is absolutely amazing, you can smell hints of oranges as well as cinnamon, it's gorgeous :).The quantity is really good. It actually works out cheaper than supermarket cassia cinnamon!It's organic, quality is perfect and the pack is big. Delivery was super fast as well.I highly recommend this item!

Lovely cinnamon, I use it in baking, on fruit and occasionally as a hot drink for its medicinal properties. Delivery time was excellent because I live on the Isle of Man and sometimes it causes a problem. Felt slightly anxious that it arrives loose in the sealed jiffy bag its posted in. Maybe better if it was in a further sealed bag. Anyway, really pleased with product!

Have bought the ‘normal’ supermarket Cinnamon all my life and did not know it was not good for you.So, decided to try this one. Saw a couple of negative reviews, but most were positive.Have bought ‘true’ Cinnamon sticks before and yes they hardly have a smell.This arrived today and I immediately opened it, wanted to know the difference.Had a. It of an issue opening it, as a cloud of powder can out. Had opened it in the correct place, but the inner zip lock was open. Hate those things as it is. Anyway, took a sniff and even though I have a cold it smelt lovely. Has a bit of a different smell and there’s definitely a more in-depth fragrance about it. Like a perfume with different notes.Anyway, I tried it in my gluten free porridge with almond milk and raisins. It kind of floated more, but once heated up it was fine.Looked like I had put too much in to be honest and I was dreading trying it. Smelt quite strong. Looked quite brown. Put some honey on as well.Plucked up the courage, took a tiny bit, then wolfed it😂😂😂 Was so much nicer. Normally put apple in my porridge as well, but was not very hungry. Will try that tomorrow though.Left a lovely taste in my mouth, may have some Cinnamon toast later, think I am hooked. Wonder if you can overdose on this :) :) :)Will never go back to the ‘normal’ shop bought again.

I have purchased this product several times now as it is the best quality and best taste I have found yet. This True Ceylon Cinnamon is an entirely different flavour to the more commonly sold Cassia Chinese Cinnamon so do not expect the same taste as you might find in cinnamon purchased from your local supermarket. It may cost a little more for the True Ceylon but, in my opinion, the flavour is entirely worth it. It is smooth, mild, lightly sweet and never bitter. I thoroughly recommend this brand and this product.

I love the fact that this cinnamon, comes in a sturdy paper bag. Plastic is not only bad for the environment, it also leeches into the food. This is fresh, organic, sweet smelling cinnamon. I have purchased it before, and I am very pleased with it. The delivery was done in 1 day, too.

I have received this product today and was expecting great things but I am extremely disappointed. It has absolutely no taste and is the consistency of dirt !!
