Good item but I wish there were some instructions
This is a solid, sturdy, and well made item. It does work with some practice using it.It comes in a few pieces and you are on your own for figuring out how things go together or supposed to be used. It took a bit to realize there is a plastic protective part (or am I supposed to keep it?) to pull off one part to reveal a threaded part to attach to another piece. Then I had to zoom way in on one of the product photos to figure out how to attach the elastic resistance piece to both ends of the bar so I could do what the woman and guy are doing. You have to put the carabiner clip through the nylon loop after you feed the nylon loop through the little hole in the end of the pole, similar to how you can attach a dog leash around a pole. Or is there a better way? When I am dealing with things that could potentially cause injury if they fly apart from assembling them wrong, I expect to have some instructions on the best way to put them together. This is a premium priced product and good instructions also help boost the perceived quality. There's also no exercise guide for some ways to use this. Include a booklet or at least make a YouTube or product video.Once I got it set up in I hope is the correct way, I was able to do some exercises and I definitely felt it in my muscles. It takes a couple of times to figure out how to properly balance it so both arms or legs are getting the same resistance, but once you get past that it is good. I am super tall it was stretchy enough so I could do standing bicep curls and upright rows. There doesn't seem to be a way to increase the resistance by adding more bands, so once the exercises get too easy you will be out of luck or will just have to figure out new exercises. But if you're in that situation it means you are strong and fit and the product did its job.As with all exercise equipment, this will only be as good as my own self-discipline in using it. But my sons and I have been trying to remind each other to use it and have been alternating sets for a few different exercises. All in all, it's on the expensive side, and the lack of guidance in putting it together and using it is disappointing, but it is a good item nonetheless and if you use it, you will definitely improve your strength.

Great to add to your home gym
The Rip trainer allows you to perform many types of exercises at the frequency and intensity you want. Great for a home gymThere are many different ways to use this stick and some of them can be found at the bottom of the listing page, as this did not come with its own instruction booklet or any detail on how to use this stick which was a bummer. I had to come back to this listing and find the info I was looking for, it would’ve been nice to have been provided an instruction pamphlet especially for the cost of this item. However it is durable and very well made and makes a great addition to your home gym. You’ll just need to do some research on how to use it prior
