I live by the coast and have been collecting pebbles. I enjoy painting, arts and crafts too, so I decided to paint pebbles. This book has helped me to know what is needed, the process etc. It is quite informative and amusing too. I have finished several pebbles which are now sitting on top of plant pots. There is a picture of cacti in the book and although I was sceptical that my paintings would look like cacti, I am pleasantly surprised, because they do. Nearly completed my pebbles and I'm looking forward to placing them outside. They will bring colour and interest. Very happy with this book. Lots of images and guidance to get you through the process.

I have recently taken up the hobby of rock decoration. It has become quite addictive. I wanted to challenge myself and get new ideas for future stones and pebbles. This book was exactly what I wanted. It’s well illustrated and easy to follow and quite reasonably priced. My skills are improving slowly but I am very impressed with the results.

This is a great book with lovely pictures got one for my granddaughter and reordered for my niece for Christmas.

The book is great with clear illustrations, instructions and ideas. However the writer suggest taking stones/pebbles off the beaches but I suggest you check with the local council as we will get fined if caught taking stones from our beach.

Can't wait to try this new hobby, gifts for friends etc. beautifully illustrated and easy to follow instructions to inspire anyone ! It is also a very economical way to find some of your material.... pebbles on the beaches !
