Probably is lapis
I bought this for a teenage granddaughter who has a belief that an inert object such as a stone can influence unconscious emotions.......clearly I'm not writing about valuable gemstones!Although when I soaked it in water there was slightleaching of blue colour (? dye) I think it is genuine lapis because of the flecks of other "goldy"colours. The surface smoothness and heart shape are appealing and the size is good. All in all 5 stars
