A great little steamer!
Have had several cordless irons over the years and am very impressed by this one. It is light and easy to use and fill. It heats up very quickly, produces a reasonable amount of steam and is effective on the clothing. It has an effective steam shot function. It is also very easy to locate back into the charging stand (has little wheels to guide it in) unlike others I have used which take time to locate and can be frustrating. The stand also acts as a cord wrap when you are finished. It does beep after 30s. This is to remind you to replace it on the stand to recharge. As I invariably did that within the time limit it didn't sound very often and so was not annoying like some reviewers mentioned. I'd therefore suggest that you need to adjust your ironing technique to suit the machine and if you do that you'll have no problems. My only gripe (as it otherwise is so well designed) is that Tefal should have thought of adding a mechanism to secure the iron to the base for transport . They did not so you need to be aware of this when transporting from one area to another.Would highly recommend.

Excellent Design, Less Heat
I bought this cordless particularly because of its base. When you have kids around, you'll always be worried that they may trip iron over if it were stowing vertically. With this, you have no worry. It is easy to iron and stow. Lightweight and sleek. The only downside is that if you're used to irons with high heat, you'll find this quite not as hot as you'd want it to be. I was using Philips previously and it is way hotter even at low setting.Otherwise, this is a fabulous iron.

Brilliant, for my uses
It's fab, lightweight and best of all no cable. heats up quite quickly. is on a horizontal base which sits on my ironing board solidly, unlike the irons that charge up a at their tail end, I don't feel like it will tip off. Good overall, it's made ironing easier for me

So easy to use
I love this iron, it’s a powerful steam iron but you have the free movement to get into awkward positions without being tied to a cord. This is my second iron of this type, my old one lasted 15 years and I was lost without it

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I have waited sometime before reviewing this iron as I wanted to give it a fair go before slating it, but it really is as bad as my initial assessment. Flip up lid for water broke first time of using so iron was returned. Stupidly, I decided to replace it as I liked the concept of working without a trailing cord. I cannot begin to explain how much I loathe this item, which simply isn’t fit for purpose and almost drives me to the point of throwing it through an upstairs window every time it beeps. Only the thought of an expensive lawsuit by a neighbour prevents me hurling it as far away as possible. Let’s see it I can summarise:Never gets hot enoughSteam is ineffectiveYou have to wait for the heat up period each time or it won’t take a crease out of anythingTakes twice as long to do a pile of ironing and it still looks as if you didn’t do itDon’t even bother with sheets or duvet covers; it takes three reheats just to do a pillowcaseThe beep could be used as a torture device by the militaryPoor qualityI cannot comment on the longevity of this iron as I believe it will meet its demise by my hand long before expectations. I pray everyday that it’ll go wrong so that I can justify going out to buy a nice sensible iron with a cord that actually does what it’s meant to do.

Extra Iron
I had to purchase a new iron as the one I had been using for some time I could not list it as I had chipped the bone in my shoulder and elbowed I needed to iron shirts etc, so I saw this and thought it would be great. I was sadly mistaken although it was nice and light and I could manage it with ease , there was not enough steam given out before one had to put it back on the base ,and it took ages to do a simple bit of ironing,. I have kept it as a spare iron , but it would be no good for bedding as it will take about two hours to iron a duvet cover,.So do not buy if you need to iron something large.

My new iron
I like this iron because it is cordless I my last iron was the same model (item is now updated a bit) I do find this one does not reheat as quickly as you iron.I still think it’s a nice lightweight iron and I prefer cordless.
