Think Fun Cold Case: Murder with Interest – A Murder Mystery Game in a Box for Ages 14 and Up

Players are presented with documents, interviews, and photographs from a decades-old murder turned cold case. After reviewing all the information players have to make the determination of who did the killing and how it was done.It can be a little bit daunting when you open it up and start wading through all the information, But ultimately it made for an enjoyable date night at home. The "aha moment" is also enjoyable when the pieces fall into place.

We have a Family Fun Night once a month for our family, where we all come together and do something different each month. We've played escape room style games and mystery solving games in the past, and everyone loved them. We used this game for one of our Family Fun Nights, and we all enjoyed it.The props that come with this game are very nice - better than some of the other brands of similar games we've played - I'm impressed! The props look very close to real - for example, the newspaper looks and feels like a newspaper clipping, and the greeting card looks and feels like a regular card. Some of the other games of this type we've played in the past have not had props that look this real.We have quite a few games made by this manufactur, so we are familiar with the quality that goes into their games - this one is yet another quality game from them.One thing I noticed about this game versus others that we've played is that this one has you go online to submit your answers to see if you solved the mystery. I don't think this a huge deal as most people are going to have internet access pretty much anywhere you go - but... if you're going to play this game at a remote cabin or while camping, you might not have internet access or cell access there, so you wouldn't be able to finish the game. Something to keep in mind.I really like that this game can be played again and again. Similar games we've played have been one-use only games, but with this one, you can pass it along to friends for them to play when you're done.I also really like the price point of this game! Similar games we've played have been up to three times this much, so I appreciate this one being so affordable.This game was fun to play and solve. I do recommend it!
