We have a love bird and this is the perfect size for her! Our lovebird LOVES this and sleeps in this every night. Its a place for her to cozy up and rest. When we first got it, we placed it on the floor of her cage. At first she didn't use it and completely ignored it; almost like she was afraid to even go near it. After about a week, she got a little more curious and finally started exploring it. Now she goes in and out all the time and spends every night in there. Take home message is that it took a little bit for her to get used to it being in the cage before she was comfortable with it so don't worry if your bird takes a bit to warm up to it too.I would also recommend getting two of these so that you can always keep a clean one in the cage. We clean our cage once per week and put the clean on in during that time. With this sitting on the floor of the cage, the outside gets 'soiled' when our lovebird poops all over it.Other reviews mention that these come apart inside. We have NOT had that problem. These seem well made and have not come apart AT ALL during repeated washing under hot, soapy tap water at the sink. We did recently replace one of them because it was just too dirty to keep using. It lasted about 8 months.The first ones we got were red, then the replacement was yellow (same product except for color) so color appears to be random and what is in stock...we certainly don't mind.

I don't really like this one as much as the previous one I bought through Amazon.The old one was sewn on all three corners. You just form it into a triangle and run a perch through it.This new one is shipped as three panels sewn along two seems. You have to fold it into a triangle and fasten two straps in order to form it into a triangle. This creates a gap at the top of the hut. The bird used to perch on top of the old hut but doesn't seem to like the wide gap in the top of this new one.

I gave this 5 Stars because it's a good sturdy product.It arrived in a timely manner. This was packaged good.It was a little bigger then I expected. My bird is scared of it. Therefore it's was a waist of my money and it's not being used. I even tried to trick her in by putting her treats in it but didn't work We have two blankets that she stands under when she is cold, she loves the blankets. That's why I figured that she would like this product. She could stay warm and rest her little bird legs at the same time.( My bird not liking it has nothing to do with the company.) So all in all if you do not have a scared bird Iwould 100% recommend. Great product from a great company!

Perfect for my parakeet but too small for my sun conure. A size up would have been perfect for both, since they both cuddle together when they rest or sleep.2/17/2018 Update: So my conure Marty is relentless, he squeezed in there and actually enjoys the snug fit. He totally kicked his buddy Sky (parakeet) out of the hut! Lol

I accidentally bought the smaller size but my Sun Conure loves his new but. He likes to destroy his huts, so the price makes it affordable.

I bought this for my parakeets. At first they ignored it, then tore the inside to shreds. Now they are back to ignoring it again! They never slept nor snuggled into it. I'll keep looking around for something else to make them happy...

We bought this for our canary winged parakeet who likes to be snuggled. He likes to sleep in it but when left alone he climbs to the top and bites it to destroy where it is hanging from.

My parakeet is scared of it but I think he will come around. Seems very cozy!

Very poor quality product. Product looks like it has lots of padding inside but it does not. My bird even tells me by tapping it that there is not enough padding in it and he will not sleep in it.
