Stormguard 05SR0363.5MBL 3.5m Extra Thick Self-Adhesive Polyvinyl Draught Excluder Foam– Black

Firstly because of its thickness you don't get enough to do a complete doorway, end up buying two rolls and having half a roll left over. The adhesion is not particularly long lasting, it starting peeling up after only a few days. Probably because it has spent so long coiled up and is trying to return to a coil, easily remedied by glueing down the last few inches at each end. Won't know how effective it is until we get some cold draughty weather but it has certainly stopped some noise!

Stuck this to a Steel Painted Door frame [after prepping the area correctly, shut the door, only for the tape to pull off when the door was reopened. Then despite several attempts to reseat the tape, it repeated pulled off.Not worth bothering with after that, very poor adhesion!!

We found this draught excluder easy to use, but very soft and super easy to tear which can easily mean having to start over.We had much better success using rubber/vinyl based strips rather than this foam - it was worth a try for the cost, but ultimately not worth it.

I had a really drafty window due to the gap between the window and the frame even when closed, so in winter all the cold air would leak in and you could hear everything from the outside as if the window was wide open. I got this and had to double layer it along the inside of the window frame, but once it was done… draft was gone and the outside world was muffled. Amazing product

This draft excluder is a tad too cheap and cheerful.I had expected a firmer 'closed' foam. Alas, this is far too soft and delicate such that its easily torn.I'm sure, if used with care, it will do a job for some buyers.However, its not for me.

Thought it might turn out to be just one more, not very good, online buy, but it really is OK! Was a good thickness for draughtproofing, easy to cut, sticks surprisingly well. Worked first time, so I still have quite a lot of it left! (there'll be another window...)

Not fit for purpose. The adhesive is not at all sticky and it peels right off within moments of being applied. Clearly not the same product earlier reviewers have received. Faulty product and doesn’t work because it doesn’t stick.
