Easy to swallow Vitamin C with Rose Hips
This is a great Vitamin C supplement to help your immune system during the winter months. I like the size of the tablet for 1000mg, and it's easy on my stomach.

Great source of Vitamin C
I take an iron supplement every day and I couple it with a Vitamin C supplement because it helps your body absorb the iron. This was a great option at a decent value. You get 100 tablets under $10 so you are well covered for over 3 months! At 1000mg per tablet it is a high dosage supplement but with it being a water soluble vitamin your body tends to expel excess so it is difficult to get too much. For the value this is a fantastic option to increase your Vitamin C intake.

High Dose Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a very popular vitamin, and has been touted as being beneficial for the common cold, immune issues, heart health, and much more. It does seem to have many benefits, and I've taken vitamin C regularly for about 30 years. This is a high dose of vitamin C. It contains 1000 mg per pill. I think this is too high for one dose, since a lot of it just won't get used by the body. I split it into halves and take them at different times. The only way I would take 1000 mg is in a timed-release formula.I took off a star for the following reasons. First, I don't see why this needs to be coated with artificial coloring (INS 110). I have never taken a vitamin C tablet that has needed to be coated like this. Second, I don't see anything about third-party testing related to this product.

Probably ok
It's probably a pretty ok vitamin but it tore up my stomach, so if you have any sensitivity in your stomach or g.i. track be careful.

Great Supplement For Vitamin C
Easy to swallow with a glass of water. There is no odd/unpleasant taste. I hadn't felt any negative symptoms after taking it. Comes with 100 tablets, each one with 1000 mg of L-Ascorbic Acid as well as 30 mg of Rose Hips Extract. Rose Hips is believed to support your immune system. I will update this review after a few months and share my experience if I feel different.

Awkward to swallow but a good winter boost
I take Vitamin C daily, but I usually take the effervescent since I am not great at taking tablets, even small ones! But since I had run out of my usual vitamins and noticed these online, I decided to give them a whirl.I really didn't expect these caplets to be so large! I actually have to break them in half to take them and therefore get a bitter, chemical taste which isn't too pleasant. Although after a few sips of water, the taste doesn't seem to linger. If unlike me, you have no problem taking tablets, then I don't imagine taste would be a problem as they have a smooth coating and don't seem to have any scent. They are coloured a bright almost red/orange but I didn't taste any orange flavouring or Rose Hip, whatever that is meant to taste like, but I always prefer the orange taste to my Vitamin C.I have only been taking these vitamins for 10 days but I do feel as though they have given me a boost in energy, and although these aren't as easy for me to take, I will continue to take them daily as Vitamin C has always helped me through cold/flu seasons in the past. There is a good amount; 100 vitamins at 1000mg per tablet; recommended daily intake, and these will last a few months which is good.I wouldn't recommend these vitamins for anyone who has a problem swallowing tablets and once I finish these I will be going back to my effervescent, but overall I think they are one of the more effective Vitamins to take to stay healthy.

OK value, but overload of Vitamin C for no reason
These are decent value - at current cost (£9.99 for 100 tablets) works out to 10p per tablet. Over three months supply. The tablets are quite large (which is something I notice with all vitamin C supplements) and are sour to the taste. I just took one with water and I think it's still somewhere in my oesophagus. Each tablet provides (according to the label) 1111.11% of your recommended daily value of vitamin C. Which is a ridiculous amount - it is absolute fact the body can only absorb a limited amount of vitamin C per day - this is overkill. I have no idea what rose hip extract can do for health, but there's no established %DV for that. The problem is there are many supplements that have a full dose of vitamin C, as well as other vitamins. So unless you ONLY need a vitamin C supplement, then this is a decent buy. Otherwise I'd give it a miss.

High strength Vitamin C large tablets
This is a really high strength 1000 mg Vitamin C. It also contains Rose Hip extract. This product is beneficial for Immune support especially during winter time, It has Antioxidant properties. The recommended dosage is 1 tables / Day so this bottle should last you for a little more than 3 month. The tablets are Large but i personally don't have any issues with tablets. I didn't notice any taste or even after taste which is good. The bottle has a flip top which is resealing the bottle fine and keeping tablets safe. Great value for money

Dubious claims, dubious ingredients
Not impressed with these at all. The labelling makes lots of claims but they are mostly spurious (such as "cholesterol free", "fish free" - since when you would expect Vitamin C to contain those anyway?), dubious (they claim to be "organic" but don't mention any kind of certification scheme which you really need to make such a claim), or downright misleading - "no additives" - well it contains artificial colour, which is completely unnecessary and so certainly would be classed as a "additive").They say they're "made for" a USA company but doesn't say where - the Amazon description suggests India but I am suspicious of a product which doesn't say clearly where it's made.I just don't trust these for all the reasons above, and I don't want to take artificial colour in what's supposed to be a health supplement, so I'm not taking them and they will do in the bin.
