Not their intended use, I know, but these two pottery wheel clay throwing bases work brilliantly for me in conjunction with a small rotating plate, to use as bases for airbrushing parts of scale model kits. They are made of a very dense chipboard, thick and weighty so they don't easily move, and smooth on the top and bottom, and work great to hold pieces in place while being able to rotate them around rather then try and hold the pieces and move the airbrush. I'm always looking for different ways to use items, and these are a perfect example of that.

Pros- decent quality material- machined well- priced reasonably for two- lots of potentialCons- could use a bit of TLC and a couple of coats of varnishThese are great to make a DIY Lazy Susan. The sizing is great for both plates. They seem to be pretty round. They do need a bit of TLC with regards to varnishing or coating though.They're exactly what you'd expect by looking at them. And a decent price for both.
