FISCOBt5Me Big T Tape and Belt Clip

Good:Belt clip is sturdy and practical. The tape clips in and out of it whilst the holster remains on your belt. Anyone who has to carry a tape and wear decent clothes will appreciate their belt not being ruined like most tapes with belt clips.Good lock mechanism, push the front of the button in to lock, back to release.Precise measure mark - the calibrated part sits between two arrows. Will add pic to illustrate later.Small flap at the back of the tape folds down to make the distance from the measuring mark to the back of the tape exactly 100mm - very useful for measuring up to corners.Good hook.Bad:The tape doesn't appear to be nearly as sturdy as say, a fatmax.

Very nice quality, tactile feel to this one, compared to all the other metal or cheap plastic bodied ones I have. Also the in-out movement of the tape is v.smooth & v.easy to control with the large thumb operated button. Although the release action of this is a bit stiff. The precision offered by the fold down +100mm marking at the back is a brilliant idea. So much better than the guesstimated +2.5” tape length ‘marking’ on the back of many competitors.

Very pleased with the product but found it £5 cheaper elsewhere (after my purchase)

The BigT is a very fine measuring instrument. The combintion of a thick hook and a fold down tail make it so easy to measure and transfer measurements. Of course you can use it like a regular tape measure but you can also use it to accurately measure inside dimensions (of a cabinet for example) because of it's design. I still have my original one of these which I've had since 2005, it's tierd but still working. The older one is definitely sturdier and has 4 rivets on the hook which guides the hook flawlessly. The new model only has 3 rivets and the hook suffers a modicum of wobble as a result. The tape blade is also lighter feeling on the new model. Despite these minor changes I still rate this tape very highly. The design is genius. I use my hand to slow the retraction on the last bit to avoid the risk of breaking the hook. The hook and a few inches of blade came off on one of my previous ones. I've heard the tape is replaceable but I cannot find the part for sale anywhere. If you need very accurate measurements then get this tape. You will be glad you did.

Class 1 tape, accurate. Nice belt clip just use thumb to release. Tape clips back in at any angle. They're so good I have 4 different ones now.

Seems nicely made with the case being part of the measurement if needed & positive blade lock, good belt clip.

As usual, great tape from Fisco. Robust, well designed and so easy to use.Fisco is definitively the best tape brand and it's made in the UK!I've got a company over here in France and everybody use Fisco tapes. They are simply the best available in the world!

Best tape I have ever owned you won't be disappointed belt clip is grill tape clicked in place and never falls out .the front foot is grill and latches on without slipping due to it being rubber on the end .carpenter by trade so I know kiss the Stanley tape goodbye and get one of these.

Solo un pero, me esperaba una calidad mejor en el acabado de la lengueta y me frustre bastante con el juego que tiene de casi 4mm. Para la marca y el precio podria ser mejor...

Very smooth operation and takes a beating

La cinta métrica está muy bien se ve robusta y precisa, el no poner más estrellas es porque el inicio de la cinta llegó con marcas de doblado. Por lo demas muy robusto.

Buen metro , pero llego con la doble escala metro pulgadas , haberlo sabido no lo hubiera comprado! Muy incómodo !
