Nice ornamental for fish tank
The media could not be loaded. It looks great, works fine, fast delivery.You do need your own air pump and tubing .

perfect once you unclog the inlet
works perfectly. however I had to unblock the hole that the air comes out of first. had to jam in a thin nail to unblock it. but works perfectly once unblocked. think the molding gets clogged when they are made.......also would highly recommend a using an air pump where you can control air flow. As I found the air pump i use (nicrow ufo air pump) was producing a LOT of bubbles on normal setting, so I set the lowest setting to avoid excessive bubbles. I now get a steady few bubbles every 5 seconds from the clam

The hole for the air to come out was sealed up and the coating is already coming off but it works ok once you've sorted the problems.

COOLEST THING EVER
The media could not be loaded. Ohhh mehhh gerrrrrrd this is the COOLEST little thing I have ever bought! Screw the bad reviews, but this! I turned the bubbles up for the video but you can adjust your bubbler so it goes slower if you want. The fish LOVE it! They are sooo entertained by it! Some try to go attack it but you can tell it’s in curious fun. They are so happy they love it makes the little boring world they live in so much more lively and interesting. Buying another for my back pond too! This is a MUST BUY.

Not safe for any tank.
After a few months in my tank, the paint on this ornament has started to flake away. It’s not aquarium safe, and therefore isn’t even legal to be sold as so. It’s responsible for a lot of damage to my tank, and I’m very disappointed that Amazon allow this to be sold.

Works as intended; does move around a little bit when operating. Looks good in the tank.
It works as described but it does tend to move around a bit when operating. I just bought one of those suction cup clips for the air line, buried it beneath the rock and that holds the alligator down.

hilarious piece of art
you need to buy an air pump that can push the correct amount of air to the bottom of your tank! i have a 65 gallon tall and needed to get a higher rated pump in order for it to work. i also needed to buy a regulator to adjust the amount of air that pushes through. too little and it won't work. too much air and the clam will flip open.

Clam Does Not Open And Shut
I bought this clam because I thought it was cute and would make a great addition to my 55 gallon setup. I mainly liked the fact that it is supposed to open and close with bubbles coming out. When it arrived I hooked it up and it did not open and close like its supposed too. It stayed closed the whole time which made the bubbles come out of the side instead of the front. I sent it back for a refund as it did not work correctly. Tried it on two different air pumps, one of which was brand new. Still did not work. Do not recommend this product at all!
