Making a change
the past few years I have been trying to get a way from using things that have harsh chemicals and looking towards herbs and plants that have medicinal properties. I have found that Jenni Rempel's books are an invaluable resource for learning about herbalism and growing my own medicine. I love that she goes into detail about different everyday plants such as Aloe Vera and rosemary. I love the recipes towards the end of the book to help readers learn how to utilize the herbs into useable recipes. What I would like though, is with each discussion on what the plants and herbs do a little bit about the care and how to grow these herbs. Other than that I think this is one of the best herbal medicinal books I have read in a long time.

This book is a gem!
This book is divided into 5 sections. Section one covers the basics of herbalism, such as explaining what herbal medicine actually is and how it can boost our health. Section two covers first aid for wounds, sprains, migraines, and more. Section three covers how to maintain good health. Section four covers herbs that can help serious and chronic illnesses, and section five covers growing your own herbal garden. It's broken down even more in each section, all of it being valuable information. At the end of the book are several recipes, which I am anxious to try!

A fabulous book - I love it!!!
I was thrilled to see that Jenni had released another book and ordered the paperback straight away as I love her passion and her way of imparting her expertise in a way that’s accessible for everyone. However, I couldn’t wait for the physical copy to arrive so downloaded the ebook too - well worth it!!!Jenni Rempel's books are packed with useful and fascinating information, and the best part is that you don't have to be an expert to get started. Herbs are so simple to grow, and Jenni does an excellent job of highlighting the best ways to use them for simple and natural remedies. As in her previous book, Jenni’s narrative is captivating and motivating. I've already learned so much from this high-quality book. It’s beautifully laid out and explained in such simple terms that no one should be intimidated by the prospect of making safe and cost-effective herbal remedies in their own gardens and kitchens. I especially loved the chapter on reviving lacklustre hair (much needed in my case).I eagerly await Jenni's next book and look forward to continuing this fascinating journey into embracing a more natural way of life.
