These colourful containers are great fun. Certainly something different. The pots are just big enough until the plant gets it's true leaves. Then they would need re-potting. I only gave 4 stars for sturdiness as I wouldn't recommend picking them up with one hand; I'm not saying they would bend or break, but it felt safer to use two hands. Otherwise I do recommend them.

These propagators are lovely, bright and cute and add some fun to gardening. The plastic coloured bases are a little thinner than I'd hoped so think they may crack quite easily, but the individual little black pots are a good, thick quality.

Funky and fun, but not terribly sturdy. They work well as small propagators; I like the colourful flower design, individual pots and fact they can go on a windowsill without leaking water everywhere. However, I had hoped for something slightly more robust as I'm not confident the plastic on these will last as long as my more traditional rectangular propagators. Fun for children, occasional gardeners or if you like quirky things, but would warn against paying the extra money for fancy pots if you're a serious gardener as I'm not confident these will stand the test of time. (Though I will be happy to stand corrected if they do last more than a few seasons!)

I have found these to fit my purpose. I am growing tomatoes from seed and these fit nicely onto a window sill. They are moderately attractive, quite sturdy and i have a good crop of tomato plants to plant out. I am happy with these and they should last for many years to come.I particularly like how easy it is to water the seedlings from the bottom to keep them moist but no over watered. Other options may be more effective but for an amateur gardener they are great.

Firstly I can say my kids love planting into these, and the dome has brought our seedlings on more quickly than just having the little pots on the windowsill alone. The channels under the pots are quite deep so it's unlikely you'll flood your seedlings either.However the colourful base trays are very flimsy, you have to move them carefully especially if you don't have all 8 slots taken, as otherwise they bend and the plants fall over. Because they move so easily it is hard to get the lid to sit right on the base. The bases are also easily damaged, where the cover is much stronger. If both parts were made of the same thickness plastic they would last a lot longer and be a lot more useful. The sets also don't stack base onto lid to grow multiple seedlings on top of each other or to carry between locations.While I will continue using the 3 we have, I won't be buying any more as I just didn't find the quality matched the price tag.

I ordered this as a Christmas present, but couldn't resist looking in the box to see what they are actually like. Nice bright colours, good depth to the covers, a good size, the spacing between the pots will make it easy to water, and the propagator bases, covers and pots all fit together meaning that when you don't have it in use, it will take up minimum storage space. I think these will be perfect to give as a present for a gardener...or for the gardener to buy for themself.

Nice shape. Makes a change from the usual rectangular shapes. Nice colours. But disappointed on the flimsy plastic. Hence why only two stars given. Was expecting hard plastic so be lucky if they last two seasons.

Bright and cheerful for the window sill. quite sturdy and good size pots for seedlings. Good value for money
