Perfect overall. Excellent buy
I work in construction and bought this maté for work. The top is perfect, if I have to take it off for any reason it doesn’t disturb the Bonilla. I also found that if you set the top so the bombilla is on one, you can fill the maté without removing the top. Good quality product

perfect for my mate
I've normally used the wooden gourds, but when this came up to try I wanted to see how it worked. The experience is a little different for me as my experience has always been from the wooden gourds, but it felt nice in my hand and worked well.Others thought it was nice as well.The straw has a filter on the end. Once you put that in, pour the mate over the top and then pour in small amounts of hot water, you are good to go. You will get some sediment in your mouth, but it's very minimal. I've never found a bombilla that does that perfectly.Overall I recommend it. I still prefer drinking out of a wooden gourd, but this one is lovely and works perfectly.

not the right shape for Yerba Mate
The straw gets really hot and the holes are too big. The shape makes it impossible to make the "mountain". I returned this product.

Nice quality but very large.
It is a nice mate cup but it is a very large one. I was buying this as a gift to a single person and ended up returning it because it would use a lot of Yerba and would be to large for a single drinker unless you like it strong.Other than that it looks to be high quality and is very nice looking. A great deal for the price.
