Indoor FM Ribbon Aerial with Coaxial Connector and Coaxial Adapter

After purchasing a second hand midi hi fi for my daughter's room, it was discovered the previous owner had lost the FM antenna for it. This meant the hi fi was unable to recieve any radio channels (even the super strong BBC Radio 2 signal).Happening across this ariel on Amazon, at the respectable price of under 3 pounds, along with a good amount of reviews, swayed a purchase.The ariel arrived in a wee mail bag today, well packed and as photographed on the listing - no surprises with getting different colours or designs from what I ordered.Also included was an invoice and an instruction/advice leaflet, to assist in getting the best signal while using it.The ariel itself is of good quality - as much as such a thing can be, as it is essentially a couple of wires held together in a plastic sheath. I particularly liked the plastic 'caps' at the end of the wires, which can be used to assist mounting to a wall - or in my case, pinned to the back of a large bookcase. This allows full extention of the ariel for better reception and keeps it tidied out of sight.I can report that it works as well, as the hi fi is picking up plenty or radio stations, with RDS and in stereo, though some stations are still a bit crackly (though my reception isn't the best where I stay, to be fair).For the price paid, the quality of the item and professional service, I'd recommend this item and the seller.

There were two things that decided my purchase of this aerial, the price [under 4 quid] and the additional male adaptor as an extra [as I have a female junction on my rig]. Can I use those terms in these crazy times? No matter. Fitted in seconds and now I am able to pick up quite a few FM radio stations. More than happy with this aerial and would buy from this seller again

Easy to fit and works OK, subject to normal interference problems with flexible aerials of this type.

Really like the aerial. It's strong and provides a good signal. It took a long time to be delivered though.

Excellent product for the price. Could only tune in and store a couple of FM stations with the original "piece of wire" (Aerial) that was supplied with the recently purchased Micro system, but once this was replaced with the ribbon aerial no problem finding all FM broadcasts with the auto scan. Good strength of signals now achieved. Very happy with product.
