TRANGO Cord Trapper Rope Tarp

I use this tarp to store and transport my 40m gym rope. I've used it for several weeks and it works great for easy flaking and storage. No more coiling and uncoiling and constant tangles in between routes and walls. As long as you flake your rope lengthwise down the tarp, it's easy to roll up and go every time.

The media could not be loaded. Inexpensive but decent quality... I have 40 meters of 9.9 rope in mine and it fits very comfortably. I'm sure double that would be fine!The latching mechanism requires you to pull in the other direction if it bunches up!

The tarp cinches rope compactly so you can store at the bottom of a backpack. When it's time to climb, just unroll the tarp and you are ready to climb without having to reflake the rope. As long as you tie in the top and bottom ends of the rope, you shouldn't find any knots.

The material they used five years ago was much better. This latest choice of material, not so much. Annoyingly plastic-like and too springy.

Awesome tarp, I love the fact I can roll it up and shove it in my 35L pack with the rest of my climbing gear. I’ve used it for TR throwing it over a 30-40’ crag, it’s held up great!

I was in the market for a rope bag when I stumbled across this, and I'm really glad I did. This does everything a more expensive bag will do for your rope, except it's lighter and easier to use. I'm very happy with this purchase!

It is a tarp with two tie end points and a strap to secure your beautiful rope inside. It is simple,secure and well made. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality tarp with a couple added features.

It's really good, because it's just a tarp and it's only $15 (at least when I bought it, it was $15).Kind of wish the tarp had extra loops at both ends, so I can hook a shoulder strap and make it into a temporary rope bag.But nothing extra slings can't fix.
