Nice Upgrade
This does fit a 1999 Merc SLK230. Just the bottom black section is removed. One note, if you’re really picky, it was slightly off center but it is really not that noticeable. It was a nice addition since it matched the emblems on the wheels.

Quality want that great, actually had to repair it install it. But for the price you get what you get. Wasn't worth the time or the effort to do an exchange and wait again so I made it work
