I used it in a temprature between 3c and 10c, ruiny and windy weather. It is a good jacket be added to your jackets list

Warm and well fitted for the size I ordered. Great value. 4* because not brilliant in rain, but for the price can't really complain.

Well worth it so warm

First impressions upon receiving the item: "This looks really nice, and it's properly packaged".Getting the jacket out of the packaging, I was slightly let down by the quality of the material. Also, I thought, "Why is it solid blue when it's supposed to be two shades of blue?" because until I inspected it closely I couldn't see the distinction between the different shades of blue in natural light. The difference is very subtle.I was happy to see the velcro fasteners on the cuffs; I have noticed these appearing on jackets more and more and despite being a cheap alternative to buttons, they are quick are easy to use, which is advantageous.I noticed an interior pocket, which pleased me, but then realised it's on the right hand side (as you're wearing it), which, for a right-handed person, is the less convenient side.As I reflected on the quality of the material, I was a little disappointed. The lining on the pockets feels cheap. And I can't imagine that this jacket is anything like waterproof in heavy rain, not that it claims to be. The zips aren't the worst quality, but they aren't great.I put on the jacket and sat on my sofa on a moderate mid-March day. After a few minutes, I felt a little warmth radiating, but was struck by how much warmer I would feel in a real down jacket. I noticed on the sleeve the words 'feather free' are printed, which wouldn't impress others, but I supposed it was probably kinder to animals than a down option.The hood fitted very well over my hoodie, just right, but made a plasticky scratchy sound when I moved around. Typical for this kind of jacket, but added slightly to the sense of cheapness.It was nice to wear the Regatta brand, not the best, not the worst.I came to the realisation that everything about this jacket is reasonable - reasonably warm, reasonably attractive, reasonably good fit, reasonably well made, but not overly impressive in any way.I considered the bigger picture of how I find Amazon customer services so frustrating, and how Royal Mail deliveries in my area are rude and unpredictable at present, but on the other hand how fortunate I am to be blessed with the means to own a jacket at all, and to have it delivered to me. I felt reasonably happy.A few closing thoughts. I bought this jacket for around £28. If you're on a tight budget, you could always consider waiting a month and getting a better jacket for double the price, or trying to get a really good jacket second hand for the same price. If you can find a jacket that is both waterproof and warm for around £40-£50, that would potentially be the way to go, though I couldn't find anything quite right when I was searching on Amazon.However, if you're on a really tight budget and need a jacket in a hurry, this could be a good option, although delivery of mine took about a week, so not superfast.

Excellent quality material, very warm and waterproof. A little bit heavier than I was expecting but not a big issue. Can't believe the price (£30 Feb 2024) Accurate sizing. This exact same jacket is currently£40 more on M&S site. Very satisfied with purchase!
