I use to have the £300 cordless Philips Lumea and was disappointed when I realized this was not cordless but I prefer it. The Lumea would go flat half way through and it didn't work when plugged in but with this you can carry on. The buttons on the Lumea were also poorly placed which meant you accidentally kept switching the machine off or changing the setting but that doesn't happen with this. It's easier to hold and maneuver. If you are looking for something to use on your legs only then it's okay, has slowed the rate of regrowth and I have a couple of bald patches. It hasn't done anything to the hair on the rest of my body.Personally, I think the product is okay. I am not disappointed in the price of the item for what it does, but I do feel it's a waste of time. I would say avoid the sun because it makes your skin sensitive and the more tan u are the more likely the pulse light will go for your skin, so it will burn more, same with self tan.
