Good - but expensive - and a hack that may help moka pot users.
This probably is a five star coffee but I drink it with milk and so perhaps don't appreciate all its subtler qualities. I drop a star because of the price - I think that your average coffee drinker can pay half as much and get a coffee that he will enjoy just as much. (I know, the coffee snobs will say, why are you buying expensive coffee if you drink it with milk - and perhaps they are right.) I should also like to add a word of warning. I use a moka pot (stove top expresso maker) and initially I couldn't get it to work with this coffee - the water would not 'extract' the flavour but would find its own way through the grounds, leaving most of the grounds untouched. After a lot of experimentation I came to the conclusion that this is because this coffee is very oily (which is a good thing, as the oils contain flavour). Oils, of course, are hydrophobic - they don't like to mix with water - and that is why the hot water tended to find its own way through rather than properly saturating all the grounds. A 'hack' that overcomes this (and may be of use if readers have the same problem using a moka pot with other coffees too): once you have filled the basket, press it down a bit (I know you're not supposed to 'tamp' - I don't mean apply a lot of pressure) and top up with a little cold water. Wait for this water to saturate the (top layer of) grounds (then add more if you wish). Then screw on the top part and go ahead as usual. I have never heard this trick mentioned on any of the sites that I went to for help, so if anyone belongs to any of these forums, I wonder if it is worth publicising more widely - I believe it is worth doing whatever coffee you are using, as (in my experience) it guarantees a consistent performance from the notoriously inconsistent moka pot.I should probably give that extra star for the customer feedback - I complained to Goodlife about the lack of body and they sent me a free bag of Verve coffee to see whether I liked that any better. I now feel slightly guilty, as I think the lack was mainly due to my ineffective brewing method. (Mind you I did try it in an aeropress as well, but by that point I was already biassed against it from the moka pot attempts.)

Complete balls up my end. And asking too much from buyer their's.
Well I was going to be kind and just rate this saying it wasn't for me, and like the other review here for one star. I don't understand how it's won 3 stars and got such rave reviews but everyone is different. I've asked for a refund and my money back but was given ridiculous criteria to meet for it to be allowed for a refund. Firstly unopened, I've obviously tried it! And I didn't like it hence my request. The box it came in was binned immediately days ago. The biscuits it came with a single biscotti type thing that as a coeliac I can't eat so that too was binned. The magnet and offer of money off next order was also binned when I didn't like it because I obviously won't be using it again. I'm now worried I won't receive any money back for this item. What more annoying I'm 8n the shielding category so how on earth I thought I'd be able to send any of this back is beyond me. I'm at fault for ordering coffee online. But this company even though they don't have to take back perishables as highlighted to me will do as long as you haven't tried it, or got rid of anything at all. Hope this helps someone. I've lost 22 quid I won't be getting back. Really annoying.

Sublimely drinkable smooth coffee for the discerning coffee drinker.
The discerning coffee drinker never, ever, drinks any of that acidic instant rubbish. Nor do they buy pre-ground coffee because you had might as well use shredded cardboard. The discerning coffee drinker buy fresh coffee beans for a smooth and highly drinkable mug of coffee, every time. Also, the discerning coffee drinker does not buy their coffee beans from any of the supermarkets or Starbucks etc, as the coffee beans were roasted probably at least 6 months prior to arriving on the shelf. So, if like me, you are a discerning coffee drinker then you buy as fresh as you can get. Also, I like a medium roast Arabica coffee bean that has low acidity. The ‘Bloom’ from ‘Good Life Coffee’ is one of life’s essential’s for a eminently smooth mug of coffee. Time after time. A happy coffee drinker.

Best coffee I've ever tasted
Used to use bulletproof coffee. This is better. Wish it was a tad cheaper. Like how its certified organic. I add butter and coconut oil/MCT oil to it as I did with the bulletproof beans. The taste of this is better, I feel better on it than any other coffee too. No jitters etc. I use an airopress to make it. Always have it before needing to get into the zone to get work done. Highly recommend this coffee in its whole bean form using a grinder and airopress is my preferred approach to making it for best taste and stable energy as it filters through the freshly ground beans perfectly.

Love it or hate it?
Fast delivery and very good customer service. Coffee was freshly roasted, extremely smooth and well balanced.Unfortunately, I hated the ‘flowery’ taste, preferring a more chocolate flavour. I should have realised ... a clue is in the name! If you like herbal teas I think you will love it!

possible bad batch
It has a bitter acid taste so could have been a bad batch considering the reviews and apparent quality of the product

Very good coffee.
I bought this for wife. She likes strong coffee and her review was that this one was not quite strong enough. I tried it and found it was just to my liking. Good flavour and I have tried it as a latte and just plain black. Delicious.

This coffee is a wonderful new member to my stack
Wanted to test it in my own bulletproof coffee stack ( currently manually grinded organic coffee beans, organic cocoa, grass fed ghee, coconut oil and C8 MCT ). This coffee is a wonderful new member to my stack. Flavour, aroma is soft and round. For someone with a heightened body awareness you can literally feel the reduced adicity, with it a much much smoothed out jitteriness and energy crash know with the usual types of standard coffees. That being said, the higher price is absolutely justified. Will buy again for sure.
